it was written by some anglo-saxon dude in the 8th century. it's an epic poem about this scandanavian warrior who goes to this hall in denmark that's having alot of trouble with this big monster dude named Grendel who keeps killing people to kill Grendel. the he kills'em and everyone's like wooo! and stuff and then he has to go kill Grendel's mother who's all pissed off. so he kills her too and becomes king later and like 50 years later or somethin' this dragon comes to his kingdom and he goes out and fights it and he kills it, but it ends up killing him too.
pretty famous story. they made a few movies about it, but they changed a bunch of stuff from the poem that I don't like. =(

the first few sentences...then KILLINGKILLINGKILLINGKILLING.
hehe jk. sounds interesting...
yea me neither. not too much though. if it's like alot alot and nothing but violence with no story, it's SOOo boring..
I liek it when it's used sparingly ya know?
though the book is about a norse warrior who fights monsters, so you're gonna have it pretty violent!
