History- (Leah had an abusive father growing up and grew to fear and despise men. She hates alot of guys because of her bad experiences. She found out she was a mermaid when she was 12 and her father tried to drown her. When she was 14 she ran away from home and was almost kidnapped and raped. Luckily a mysterious stranger saved her.

She is flirty and outgoing, but not overly so. She does have the veela temper, though, and is easily angered, and she can hex well, so it's best you stay on her good side. She is very proud and will never, ever - heaven forbid - ask for help.
History: She grew up in the regular mortal world - her parents were both half human. Her father was half-wizard, and her mom was half-veela. They took very good care of her and raised her well, to be nice, unlike the reputation that so many part-veelas have. They raised her to be proper and mind her manners, and good is never enough, it has to exceed expectations.

Personality- she's a truant, but not out of laziness. Swift can be disagreeable and obnoxious, but she's really smart and clever. She is also not vain.
History- Swift Darkness was dumped onto the streets as a new born. She was stumbled upon my a young woman who was grieving for the loss of her son. The woman raised Swift with compassion naming the girl Marie Antoinette. However, Swift was naturally disagreeable by nature. She faked her death and ran away at age 9 and lived on the streets renaming herself. At age 13 she came here. When she came here it surprised most to learn that she was a Shininglight, not a Winterflake, since they thought her rude and vain.
