Lord of the Rings is one of the first things that pops into my head when I'm asked this question. I think it is because of the way it is written that stops me from finishing it. But the movies were great, incredible.
Red Riding Hood.Maybe it's because it was written for the movie or whatever, but I just didn't find it that enjoyable. The movie was quite a bit better than the book and I liked the ending in the movie better.
Atonement (movie) I found to be a lot better than the book.
