Background History:
Swift Darkness was born a princess. However when her parents realized she was Graced they faked her death and sent her off with a maid named Asta. Asta raised the newborn princess like her own daughter, who had died just weeks after birth. She named the girl Aiyana, meaning "eternal blossom", because of how beautiful she looked. However when Aiyana was 8 tragedy struck, Asta died. Left on the streets to beg the former princess found no kindness in men, and boys teased her, but their wives and sisters comforted her, and gave her hope. When she turned 13 one of the guys who had teased her all her life decided to try and flirt with her. Aiyana, who by now had changed her name to Swift, for how she was fast and graceful, lost her temper and accidentally injured him. However his friends pulled her off him just in time. From that moment on she was known as Swift Darkness. All but the kindest turned her away. Those who had nothing to loose, and something to give took her in during the hardest times, and she learned to hunt and live off the forest for other times. She also started to secretly learn to read and write starting at the age of 14. Now, at age 17, she continues this education. Ignorant of the fact that had she not been a Grace, she could be living in a comfortable castle.
