I LOVE STAR WARS! :D I practically grew up on those movies! :)
I had quite a bit of Star Wars lego. Like Slave 1 ship, but that got taken apart and is currently well.. I lost the instructions to rebuild it.. so yeah.. :P

Me too! Was just watching the Clone Wars series... Padme is actually worth her salt in them, unlike the movies -__-
Improvise! xD

I haven't see the Clone Wars series, I shall have to check it out..
Yeah I think I tried improvising.. but there's soo many little pieces (and some went missing.. possibly on other lego ships we built..)

Haha nice. Plus the vacuum cleaner has many times proved that it's an enemy of my lego... You might have also been struck by the same villain.

Yeah.. quite a lot.. as well as family members sneaking stuff out of the main lego box and up to their rooms.. :P Or building something then refusing to take it apart..

Ah yes, the I-built-it-therefore-it-is-sacred syndrome. This lead to many a hair pulling and eye gouging between my little bro's and I.

And I mean, it's not like you can name label your lego...

I've only seen the first movie (which is the sixth) so I'm a little lost when it comes to Star Wars, but my brother is obsessed. Like, we have the Hunger Games he has Star Wars obsessed. So naturally I have seen every Star Wars Lego set or Star Wars book or notebook either in my brother's hands or in a store and he's asking for it!
Yeah, I watched them 4,5,6 (so technically the first ones made) then 1,2,3 (as they came out in the cinemas)..
The sixth one is definitely my favourite.. with the Ewoks! They are the cutest, coolest most awesome ever! And I've wanted one ever since I first saw the movie!

Oh god, have you seen Robot Chicken Star Wars? They do this thing about running over an Ewok on a speeder bike, and it was meant to be funny but I almost cried because they killed an Ewok!

No I haven't.. but killing an Ewok is an abomination! :O
I cried so hard in the sixth movie where there's the two Ewoks who get hit by the explosion and one of them comes back round and is shaking his friend and everything but the friends died.. it was soo sad :(

Yes! That bit broke my heart... Damn you, George Lucas! :(
I also cried when Darth Vader died... But after watching the prequels, I didn't. I disliked Anakin so much.

Yeah I did as well..
Anakin annoys me..
I always loved Obi-wan and Yoda
(and I always thought the young Bobba Fett (in Attack of the Clones) was cute :P)

You gotta feel sorry for Palpatine. Yoda outweighed him in awesome.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I've never watched Star Wars in my life...judging by the comments above, I seem to be missing out on quite a lot...Oops.
(frantically rushes to father and begs for some cash to rent the whole SW collection from Blockbusters)
:)
Haha, it's okay..
Though I do really really recommend watching them.. they are some of the best movies ever specially 4,5,6 (which are technically the first three cause they were made first..)

I may just do that...it's high time for a movie marathon in my house anyway - I'll throw it out there for my brothers; we usually end up watching up-itself macho bullsh*t crap, which I am ashamed to say is actually really really enjoyable I LOVE RAMBO!!! (but please don't hold that against me)
:)
Ooh, sorry Aprille Legacy, I just mentioned a completely unrelated and random movie in a Star Wars thread...please don't kick me out---won't do it again(falls to her knees and clasps hands in desperation)

Ahaha I don't mind... But as your punishment, you must watch Star Wars (:P). Start with 4,5,6 and then watch 1,2,3.

I don't get it-why 4,5,6 first?Everyone seems to be saying that, but isn't that a bit illogical?
Someone please explain to a Star Wars novice!
:)
Okay basically 4,5,6 were made first then like 10 years later or something they made prequels..
So 4,5,6 are the original Star wars, and that is why people say to watch them first..
So 4,5,6 are the original Star wars, and that is why people say to watch them first..
If you watch the prequels first, you'll get the backstory to the last 3...wouldn't you?So...wouldn't that actually be HELPFUl?
(*sighs*)
Who knew movies could cause such confusion (for me)?
Well.. I suppose you could look at it that way..
But in away.. they're two different stories.. just with overlapping characters.. as 4,5,6 take place about 20 years later..

Got it-you're the expert!phew! (*wipes forehead*)
Glad that's sorted. Now I'm waiting for it to come on TV again; here in the UK, the main channels air it at least once a year---this time, I won't flick to Glee or something!
:)
Well I wouldn't say I'm an expert.. a lot of people probably could explain it better and they might think I'm completely wrong.. but that's how I see it anyway..
Ahh you're in the UK.. high five! :D

I think in Leia is just trying to make Han jealous in that movie.. and she's using that fact that Luke and Han were kinda vying for her attention to her advantage.
I dunno, that's just one thought..

Ohhh yeaaah. I remember that bit!
Eugh, Leia, no! Not ok!
But I do love Han. Hehe scoundrel.
