Pandora's quest

Maggie went out the barrier first. And looked back at her friends excited face. And laughed Ghost was poking out of Triggs backpack and Thea kept peeping out of her hoodie. "Its a friend so relax" she murmured.

Trigg was right behind her, with Ghost on her shoulder obviously excited too. Trigg reached and put Ghost in her sweatshirt, where he curled up

Maggie laughed. "Where are you going to hide the monkeys?" and added "Or better yet, i wonder what the humans are going to see." and grinned.

"maybe we will be a circus..." Trigg laughed

Maggie giggled. "C'mon you guys! we have to get a move on"

Lea walks out of the barrier, grinning "I have always wanted to be in a circus!"

Izzy petted her monkeys' head "I think this is a circus."

"I've never been to New York before." Trigg says as she follows Maggie. ghost poked his head out of her sweatshirt.

"And we weren't going to attract attention." Maggie smiled. She surveyed around the area. And looked at her watch, "Time to go." all humor gone from her voice. Maggie looked at Trigg and grinned "oh me neither! I used to be with my grandparents in france for a little and later came with papa. So im excited" While Thea raised her head to see Ghost. "Haha Thea your so wierd" and giggled

"I lived on the streets of New York... I know my way around.." Lea says looking grim

"I lived in Iowa, I'm all American. Small town in Iowa." Trigg said. Gods Trigg missed her town sabula. She missed her farm with her animals.

"Lived in my step father's basement for 6 years." Izzy said.

"Good question." maggie replied and kept walking, and looked at izzy sympathizing "Well if it makes you feel any better, I killed someone dear to me." And looked away staring straight ahead. keeping her face stoic.

"How long will it take to finish this quest?" trying to change the subject

"izzy? Which city or town did you live in?" Trigg asked carefully. She knew how painful the past can be, especially for demigods. "Maggie? Never mind. Thea sure likes watching Ghost."

Maggie saw a man in black up ahead with his head down. "12o'clock, Man tensed since we entered the road. We have to watch it." she whispered very low. Maggie laughed loudly Lets see how he reacts "Hey you guys we need to hurry or we will miss the movie!" She said keeping her gaze intense but her voice light and body relaxeed.

Trigg placed a hand on her daggers hilt, she was ready. The man tensed, like a cat, ready to pounce." guys watch out!" Trigg whispered to them just as the man turned. Trigg then said much louder in a airy tone "omg we can't miss it!"

Maggie looked at Trigg and nodded "In 3....2....1" And the man came at us, full speed. We were quicker though "Thea attack" she said in a stern voice. Her owl scratched the guy.. no demon in pain and Maggie quickly slid under grabbed her dagger and stabbed his back. He howled in pain But not dead yet

Lea unsheaths her sword and is ready to attack

Trigg was ready for it, she jumped to the side and stuck her arm to the side with her dagger in hand for him to injure himself on. Oh gods I hope he is a monster... ghost took a hint and latched his claws on the 'mans' head.

She slid the dagger ouut and Thea perched back in her hoodie. And she quickly moved out of the way of her friends. She memorized everything of the demon blue green skin slowly coming to life red eyes bulging and a sick mouth with sharp teeth.

Lea charged at the man and aimed for his side and she hit her mark. He cries out

Trigg called Ghost and he leaped of his head and landed lightly on her shoulder... Trigg leaped next to the monster and slashed her daggers at his side

Maggie quickly grabbed her dagger and slit his throat and the last of his breath stopped. "Gross" and stepped over the body.

"Nice Maggie!!!" Lea grins

"I'm not cleaning that up." Izzy said looking over Maggie's shoulder "What is that any way?"

The monster disintegrated into dust and blew away in the wind."good you don't have to."

"Thank gods." Izzy said

"Thanks" Smiled Maggie. She cleaned her dagger on the grass and quickly hatched it to her calf "Nice team work" and started to grin at them.Her head cocked to the side whenever she had a question."Hmmm Is this pandora's work?" asked Maggie to her friends

"I was getting worried there for a minute!" looking relieved. Cleans her sword in the grass

Trigg cleaned her daggers and slid them back into the sheaths on her thighs. "what was that?" Trigg asked

"Im not sure."

"I would say if it was a gorgon but it was male." Izzy said imagining the man in her head.

"a dude gorgon..." Trigg said."that's a first for me. Wonder what it really is."

The necklace seemed to burn. She quickly took it out and it glowed and a new enngravement was there. be killed or kill again. "What the.." So this is how she is messaging us and taunting us. It's not going to work.

"Whats wrong Maggie?" said looking worried

Trigg looked at Maggie then looked at her own. 'you won... This time'..."Maggie what did yours say?"

She looked at Lea. She's worried "Um, My necklace felt like it was burning so i took it out and there were new words." she said hesitantly. "Lets keep walking though." and then added "Be killed or kill again" and sighed.

"How nice," Izzy said looking at her own locket "Mine says Follow on and you will die, she might as well put that on my birthday card."

Maggie chuckled at Izzy "I think she would put mine happily in my grave" and smiled

"mine said 'you won...this time' " Trigg said "I think she is underestimating us. I wonder what will be next."

Maggie's smile faded, "Who knows but as my papa used to say 'Expect the Unexpected'" and all of them continued to walk.

With a small smile she says "I feel left out...."

"I wonder if she pre writes these..." Trigg smiled "she is going to have a lot of time cause we are killing all of them!"

(Wait I just realized we don't have a prophecy)
"Well that's her mistake." Izzy said looking at the hill ahead "Unless there's another monster up there."

"Lea" she looked at her "Don't. You wouldn't want threats hanging on your neck." She frowned "Sorry i just dont want anything to happen to you guys. Guess im protective." (Put It in somehow) and quickly added "Even though you guys don't need protection." and shyly smiled

(how bout we all have the prophecy on our necklaces)

"Same. And I just met you guys!"

(Yeah better idea! But Lea needs a necklace!)
