Camille (camlovesraptors) | 802 comments Well now that Thanksgiving is over I thought it would be fun for us to share some of our Christmas traditions that we have with our families, or even things we like to do ourselves to celebrate the season...

I'll start: every year either after Thanksgiving dinner or the next day my mom and I (and now my stepfather and brother) watch White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. Such a wonderful movie!

Lisa conner (ptl44lmc) | 99 comments starting next day after Thanksgiving i put the tree up sometimes have little helpers:), find all my Christmas music, love to listen to it all the time, also the old Christmas movies. Start making cookie and bread list and search my recipes and decide what to bake for Christmas. Fun time also a time to stop and think of the real reson for the Season

Paula-O (kyflo130) | 119 comments Well I am sort of like Camille, I like the Christmas movies on lifetime and hallmark, some old and some new ones. I will soon do my Christmas cards and have written a special letter to put in family ones. I love to hear Christmas music and it is never too soon for me, have not heard any yet though.

When our girls were small we used to have birthday cake for breakfast on Christmas Day and sing happy birthday to Jesus.

Diane U (djuseless) My hubby and I have a corny Christmas tradition. Every year, we need to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It is so redneck and it displays the typical disfunctional family! It's a good laugh to say the least!

Camille (camlovesraptors) | 802 comments That sounds amazing Diane! Laughter at Christmas is wonderful!!! For me, aside from the true purpose of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, Christmas is about family, love, joy and happiness! Laughter fits right in with that!
