Personality: she's shy and quiet at first, but once you get to know her, she's nice, fun loving and sometimes a bit mischeivous!

History: because of the curse, her family left her on the doorstep of a poor family. She doesn't know if her family is alive or even if they live in this kingdom!

Family: she doesn't know about her real parents, but the ones who take care of her are: Mom, Dad, little sister (Emelia). Mom and Dad only give the minimum amount of love and care and Emelia looks up to her.

With her sun-tanned skin and dark green eyes you'd think she'd be noticed a little more by the males in the village, but she tries her best to stay out of sight, wearing nondescript clothes and using her fringe to cover her eyes.

Personality: Arina detests attention. She always keeps to herself and answers any questions directed at her politely but guardedly. Despite this, she's also quite clever. Due to her power, she often observes people from a distance, mind ticking over as she tries to work out why they have those secrets. Behind her serious act she secretly enjoys having fun and often chats to animals in her spare time. For those who have managed to get a little closer to her she often lets her old personality shine through, and gets teased mercilessly by them for it. Before the curse she was always in the middle of things and loved leading, but once the curse came everything abruptly changed.

History: As mentioned before, Arina's life was just dandy before the Curse. However when all family except her parents died, bad things started to happen. As she told a passing cat: "I never wanted to know these things. I never wanted to know my father had another woman,". It tore their family apart and she ran far away, swearing never to get close to someone in case that happened again.

Power: Sound. He's able to manipulate how sound waves effect him. He can amplify sound so he can hear better, he can soften noise so he doesn't have to strain to hear you, and he can also use them to attack... Though he doesn't do that often.

Appearance:
Personality: Damian is the kind of person who can't resist being helpful; even if he turns out being a dead-weight in the end. He's always pursuing more challenges, and has a bit of a wanderlust (the instinctual need to explore nature). Although he's more or less oblivious to the emotions of other people and loves goofing off, he's quite emotional himself, though not bipolar. He doesn't like it when he's sitting alone and doing nothing to help someone who looks like they're having a hard time, and will usually volunteer for most anything, even if it's extremely dangerous.
History: Damian had two younger brothers and an older sister. They lived in the village and didn't have any qualms with the neighbors, although rough housing could be easily heard if you stood near the door for long enough. He had a happy childhood with assisting his lonesome mother (his father had died due to another illness previous to this one), but that dream came to an end when the disease spirited his remaining family away. He doesn't like to reflect on his past, and when someone brings it up, he'll usually change the subject as soon as possible.

When he was seven, he met a girl named Arina Basile by random chance. They both happened to be running down the street in opposite directions (for completely different reasons), and, in a mess of people, ran smack into each other. Although it wasn't the most pleasant way to remember a stranger off the street, he started looking for her every once in a while; and realized that they actually had a lot in common. By interacting a little at a time over the next month, they quickly established a firm friendship that Damian would do anything to protect.

Other: Is able to read body language and lip read fairly well; since he went deaf while his ability first activated. He wasn't able to reverse the situation until much later; but everything worked out.

Name: Elliot "Soul" Yarnell

Power: Negation. He can cancel out the usage of any other person's ability; although that also means he goes into a brick-wall kind of state. Try talking to him while he uses his power, and you'll get a blank stare only the absolutely necessary amount of conversation; as it takes away what little emotion he has left throughout the duration of its use.

Appearance:
Personality: Elliot's a bit... drained. Due to the nature of his ability, it's taken a toll on his personality; dulling his emotions to the point that he's so blunt, he could make a child cry and keep walking. He's not afraid (or rather, is unable to NOT) speak his mind, and is oddly patient. He isn't impatient and he's very understanding, and he honestly values silence over noise. He's a bit on the quirky side, but he can be affectionate when you find a good notch to burrow into. If you ask him a question, he won't hesitate to tell you the answer... And honestly, he doesn't really have any secrets. No matter how embarrassing or perverted, he'll speak his mind. And although that may get him slapped, it's the bare minimum amount of amusement he needs to stave off being an emotionless robot.
History: Elliot was raised with his older sister Yvonne in a home with his to parents and his grandfather. He used to be very ambitious and rowdy, but after everything happened and his ability started to effect his psychology; he changed greatly. Yvonne was pushed farther and farther away as they tried to survive together, and soon, she couldn't live with the different "him" anymore. They separated, and she joined another boy, and since then, he hasn't seen her, nor does he want to think about her. She left him, and so, he didn't need her. He could manage on his own, after all.

Family: Deceased except for his sister; who managed to survive as well. She decided to go with another crowd though, and is currently AWOL.

Personality: Very quiet. She doesn't speak much at all, only to her sister. She doesn't trust others easily and can be quite harsh. Karu doesn't like attention and stays away from other people. To her, her power is extremely overwhelming. Karu hates it when others try and understand her because she knows they never will. She doesn't know the meaning of love, so unless someone extremely special comes into her life, she will never fall in love.

Appearance:
Personality: Kurai likes to think of herself as a lady, of sorts. She's quite polite when it comes to official business, but really doesn't like too much interaction with people. Although usually quiet she will always speak up about things she believes strongly in, and defends anyone who's won her favour. Often sarcastic and rather critical, she can step up when the occasion demands it. She likes being in control of every situation and hardly ever looses her cool.

History: When the world was new, it was a place of stark contrast. Blinding lights and pitch black shadows swirled around, throwing the growing ecosystems into chaos. When plants started to wither and die in the blinding light, a vessel was created to contain that life energy. However, the shadows still remained, and without the light to combat them, once again the world started to wither. Another girl was brought into the world, one with dark hair and strange eyes, surrounded by swirling shadows and dark flowers. This young thing gradually began to grow and understand the darkness inside her, and she even gave it a name- Death. Death was yet another form of energy, one that humans had not yet, and may not ever understand. It was the master of souls, leading them away once their body was destroyed, and even sometimes, with the channel of the young girl, bringing them back to their broken bodies. With a sister of life and a best friend of Death, the young girl decided to give herself a name: Kurai. Fittingly, it meant darkness in the new tongue of Japanese.

Power:Anisa was given the ability of sight but not the sight that you and me know. Anisa is somewhat of a clairvoyant. She has the ability to gain information from a persons memories and emotions by looking at them but she has limits. She cannot reach too far into someones memories or they will eventually become hers. When she first discovered her gift she played with it as if it was a game, but as she matured with this ability she started to harbor the pain the people around her felt, the grief and horror of their emotions was feeding into her without personal control so she rarely uses this power. Because of her clairvoyance her regular eyesight has become extremely poor. She can still make out the shape of the object she is peering at but not the details or fine lines. so she relies on her heightened other senses to guide her.

Personality:Lets just say Anisa is interesting.

Anisa is the "Stand Up for What You Believe In" kind of person. When she has a dream or hope she is always going to be the one to try and strive for it an eventually reach no matter how long it takes her.

In Anisa's eyes there is three kinds of people. Most importantly Herself, her Family, and her dear friends. There is NO ONE in the world who could compare to this group of people. When she is needed by any of them she is there in a heart beat. She will always be there for them in there times of need or even when she needs to drag they're asses back into reality.

On her dark side Anisa is just a ball of energy. She wants to see the world while settling down and raising a family. She just doesn't have a path in her life that she knows she will take when the time comes.
History:Anisa was raised in a large and happy home with her parents and three brothers. You will always have horse play and laughter when you come in the front door. It may not be the cleanest home in the village but it sure is one of the happiest. She has always been happy with her family but never really had any friends until one fateful day when she was 7. That was the day she met Damian Markson. Her current best friend, she believes she could never go on living without him.

Personality: Lilliana has an extremely hard outer shell. She doesn't let anyone in and she has never had a proper friend. She tends to move around a lot and never stays in one place for a very long time. Lilliana tends to stay away from others and hardly ever speaks. She doesn't enjoy the company of others and can be quite harsh to other people. She's constantly by herself and she won't let anyone keep her from doing what she feels she has to. Lillana, although tough and hard on the outside, beneath her core, she is really very insecure.

History: Lilliana doesn't know much of her past. Only bits and her quest is to retrieve the rest. The last memory she has is waking up in the cold, no shelter or cover and lying in a pool of her own blood. No matter how hard she tries, that is the last memory she has of anything. The only thing that Lilliana can recall is her name and age, nothing else.

Power: Fire. Although it's really hard for him to control, he regularly uses it to perform street acts for the locals since everyone's been fairly down. He's never hurt someone with his ability, and he dreads the day when it will inevitably happen. He himself cannot be affected by any flames, and the fire that he creates is either aqua blue, bright red or emerald green. Red flames are usually in the forms of animals and are animated. Blue flames cannot hurt people and are the things he uses while juggling or showing off. Green flames are a mystery, and those are the ones he never, ever uses.

Appearance:
Personality: Victor is an upbeat guy with a haunting past. He's strong and independent, and he's never relied on anyone since the curse came around, though he's friendly enough to get along with everyone. Sometimes he gets a little embarrassed about his lanky height, but he's usually too busy making enough money to buy the bread for the rest of the week to care about how much of a fool he makes himself out to be.
History: A year before the curse took effect, both of Victor's parents were killed in a house fire. No one knows what happened, but since Victor had slept downstairs on the night of the crime, he was able to escape unscathed. He has never been the same since. He blames himself for their death, but he knows that he couldn't have done anything. Although it was never concluded by the police, he knows that it was a targeted kill... And he constantly searches for clues as to what happened.

History: The One is a monster. That's what Bain's older brother Ridge said. He, on the other hand disagrees. Bain believes that The One maybe something from nature. Something trying to balance the world in a horrible way. The One took away lives of many but added power to the ones it left. The three Grant kids were left as orphans because their parents died.

History: when she was very little she created her old brothers nightmare in real life, she didn't know what she was dong at the time, and he ended up killing himself. She already didn't have a father and her mother screamed at her, telling her she was cursed and everyone she loved or would love her would die a horrible death. She ran away from home and has been living on her own since.

Power: Power Manipulation. She can infect the minds of others to do her bidding IF and ONLY IF they agree to it in some way (she can trick them into saying yes, if needed), and there is a price for those who go back on that word. If they don't abide to her commands, she forces the power out of them, therefore shortening the lifespan of their abilities. If they resist for too long or she doesn't release her control soon enough, it depletes the power and they can no longer use their ability. (yes, this is severe god-modding (kiddies, don't do this at home!), but it's for part of the plot.)

Appearance:
Yes... Admittedly, The One is a pervert.
Kain has one of the best seductress' bodies; one with all of her curves in exactly the right place. Short but silky hair tickles the nape of her neck, while a black and blue highlighted traditional Chinese dress is usually worn. She ways has two fan holders attached to her upper thighs, and an eye patch covers the right side of her face. Calm grey eyes and gloves complement each other, while black knee-high boots with sharp heels adorn her legs.
Personality: Kain is unafraid to be up close and personal to get what she wants. A favor for what she needs in return? No problem... She'll just take interest. Her heartless nature isn't her fault entirely, as she's not completely in control of her intent and will, but it's not like she's actively fighting against it either. She's ruthless and aggressive, having attacked and defended herself against many a men in the past, though she's very loving and gentle when the time calls for it. She's been known to lie around with both men and women, however, so everyone has to be aware of her charm...
History: Although it's unclear, it seems that she was created by The One with the sole purpose of hunting down those with abilities and turning them on others in hope to reclaim the scattered bits of Life that Karu Enton managed to disperse and send out of The One's reach. Other than that, she's revealed nothing, but it'll probably come out later.

Personality: Creed was always known to be the family black sheep, he never wished to get involved with any family matters, inside he was more content studying the blade his father had given him at an early age. Cold to the point of cutting himself off from the world entirely, he possesses a somewhat sadistic side when the blood starts to flow from his enemies or from himself. He often believes that no one will ever understand him for his reasoning. Often appears to have a crestfallen look on his face when he is alone. Creed often talks about something he calls, Eden. To which he will ramble on in numerous conversation to him. Creed is only really open to others when he has some goal to focus on. Often can be hypocritical of others when they try to understand him.

History: From a young age Creed grew up as the last child born in a family of seven. He often was secluded from his siblings to further fester his isolation. He often associated his whole family as being too ignorant to understand him and was the reason he tried to stay away from them. He loved to hide in small spaces as a kid because it was the only place he could stop and think about the world, before his parents would snap him back to reality for daydreaming. At the age of 7 Creed wondered off in the woods to find a pack of wild dogs killing off some poor prey they had cornered. The smell of blood excited Creed, it made his heart jump from his chest as he smelt the alluring scent. His eyes would be bright red as his body coursed with adrenaline, ready to kill. His parents found him a day later with his whole body covered in blood and around the scattered corpses of dogs. From then on Creed’s family feared him. They wanted nothing to do with him and tried to kill him in his sleep, but by that time Creed was older and wiser. He had been expecting this for a long time and easily slaughtered his attacker. Creed then declared that if anything like that were to happen again, he would personally rip out the heart of everyone in his family and eat it like an apple. From then on nobody bothered Creed and it gave him the time to muse on the world and what this, “ Eden “ was to him.

When the curse struck he found only himself affected by the strange power that it had given while his whole family seemed to be stricken by a terrible ailment. Creed was told by them to end it quick for them. Creed heart ached to do it as he took his blade to each and everyone of their heads. It was a crowning moment of his life. Creed then proceed to secure a home in the kingdom of Aslyyn seeing as it was the closes kingdom near him.

Personality: Kaiser is a kindred spirit in the truest sense. He was often defined by others as a freak of nature when at a young age he used his power in public. Many people in the kingdom know him as the “ The Silent “ due to his ghost like nature that he possesses. He basically vanished from the kingdom of Estin when he was a child, but occasional people claim that they see him on the streets.

History: Kaiser grew up on the outskirts of the kingdom of Estin. His parents abandoned him long after his powers came in during the curse and he learned to live on his own. Kaiser learned at an early age that you can only count on yourself and that others are merely useless. He was taken in by the local thieves guild where he learned the tricks of the trades. They taught him to pickpocket and steal with the best of them, as they grew on his moral values that became a prime principle in his life. They taught him how to restrain his powers and use them in augmentation to his superior theft skills. Often Kaiser would wonder on his purpose in life other then thieving, mainly in why was he given his powers. The head of the thief guild was the one who raised him like his own. He taught him to be a warrior of principals, to stick by the moral conviction that all human deserve the life they choose; that’s why it is okay to be a thief because that’s the life you’ve chosen. Kaiser then grew up to have a fairly cheerful nature to most of those he is close to, but hostile to those he does not. It wasn’t until he accidentally harmed a person during one of his thief runs using his powers did he vow to remove himself from the guild and live as a shadow to the world.

Power: Lies. Simply, Isaac has the power to manipulate people's thoughts, memories, feelings or anything he wants to make a lie true. He doesn't choose these things specifically, they depend on the nauture of the lie.

Personality: A complete flirt, and proud of it. Isaac is the type who will set his heart on a girl and do anything to make sure she becomes his. Or boy, he isn't really picky. Even a goldfish, once, but it broke his heart. Nothing bar goldfish seem to faze him, and he has an easygoing manner that people tend to like despite themselves. Although he's well known as pretty untrustworthy he has his heroic moments, though he prefers to pretend they don't exist. They ruin his reputation.

History: Isaac grew up in a filthy rich family, which doesn't sound so bad. He saw his mother on weekends and his father every second monday, even though they all lived in the same house. His nannies were always changing in case he got too attached to one and was on a strict homeschooling program set by his father. Since he saw hardly anyone the same age, he learnt to twist them around his finger so they'd stay a while. After the Curse he realised how dangerous his ability would be in that household and left immeadiately without a word. A missing person warrant has not yet been filed. It is unsure whether his parents know he's gone.

Personality: She is usually a shy girl but has no trouble making friends. She tries to help anyone in need and will listen to your troubles. She doesnt like to share her power because she thinks it is dark and evil. Jay has never been the cause of trouble but before the disease all the kids who didnt like her would frame her for their mistakes.
History: Jay lived with her father and two older brothers. She has never met any girl in her family, since her mother died during her birth
All of her cousins are guys and it was a shame in her family to be a girl. Her father named her Jay because at first when she was a baby they thought she was a boy.
