I was going to ask about the widgets, I don't understand exactly what that is, how you add one, where I should add one etc. But I couldn't find it under the author dashboard thing because maybe parts of that are being worked on? Any help with widgets, gadgets etc would be helpful.

You have to edit your profile and go to the widgets tab.

Fright Flight, Dream Seekers Book One
I have my first book giveaway listed for Fright Flight. In looking at the dashboard, is there a way to tell how many added my book as a direct result of this campaign? I'm also contacting reviewers, who may be adding the book to their to-read list, plus friends may be as well. Will I be able to tell when those that added it to their to-read have read it? Thank you.

No, I don't think so. Any ratings and reviews will show on the book page.

Hi all. I have a new cover for my book, The Girl on the Mountain, but when I try to change the cover here I get a message that I'm not a librarian. How do I (a) do this without becoming a librarian, or (b) find a librarian to do it for me? Thanks for your help! (And I'm glad I found this group!)

Was the book ever published with the old cover, if so, you can't remove it. You can create an alternate cover edition. Just manually add the book as if it were a new book, leaving the ISBN blank if it has the same number as the old version. A librarian will have to combine the editions for you. You can always get help in the official goodreads librarians group.
