So, I'm like a complete Pirates of the Caribbean Fanatic! :D I've watched all the movies, waaay to many times to keep track of :D I decided we needed a thread dedicated to Pirates! So, what's everyone's thoughts on them? How much do you love them? :D

Will Turner. No more words can describe how much I love that movie.

Haha, I'd have to say I'm more of a Jack Sparrow and Barbossa :) The pair of them crack me up so much! :D

And the Brethren Court.. that is the best thing ever! :D

I'm also a huge fan of Lord Cutler Beckett.. he just amuses me. And I love impersonating him and his extremely British Accent!

I love Cutler Beckett! He was so small and evil! And I might've shed a tear when he died...

Elizabeth annoys the crap out of me, I'm sorry.

Oh, and also, the Pirates of the Carribean Lego game has to be one of THE BEST games ever. It's so funny! Captain Jack runs around like he does in the movies - arms all akimbo.

Haha yeah I was gutted that Beckett wouldn't be in anymore of the movies if they made more.. :P

What did everyone think of the fourth movie? I was disappointed because I couldn't find my Pirate Mickey Mouse ears to wear to it :(

I didn't think it was as good. I mean I loved it and Jack was a legend.. but it didn't quite have the same feel to it. Possibly because it was a different director, but it also was missing all the funny side-kicks like Pintel and Ragetti. My favourite part was in the ship with Jack and Barbossa, hilarious! :D

Oh definitely. But I agree it really didn't feel the same. The humour wasn't there? Different director just couldn't replicate it. Plus I really think it should've stopped at the third one.

Something like that.. I mean I can quote the entire first three movies off by heart.. I've watched them soooo many times! And they're all hilarious and just brilliant.. The fourth one just wasn't quite in the same league (yeah.. I can quote a fair amount of it too though.. :P)

I did really like the love story between the priest and the mermaid. For some reason I really enjoyed it, and I'm not so big on romance.

I totally don't remember that bit... maybe I should hire it and watch it again.

I like that they had Barbosa in it again - he's one of my favourite characters.

Oh, I love that bit... when he runs out only to run back in to grab the creamcake!! I think thatwas the best film, then the first, but I found the second one boring because I didn't understand what was going on!!:D:S

They do have a really complicated storyline after the first film. Took me a few viewings to get what was going on!
