Louise | 280 comments I just ordered this The Hare With Amber Eyes A Hidden Inheritance by Edmund de Waal - has anyone actually seen the illustrated version? It sounded too nice to pass up :-)

Shauna Castle | 105 comments Bought Origins (The Vampire Diaries Stefan's Diaries, #1) by L.J. Smith and Doctor Who Feast Of The Drowned by Stephen Cole for my Kindle as well as downloaded some free classics. Trying to stay away from print books because I might be getting giftcards or book money soon.

message 38: by Danielle (new)

Danielle | 36 comments I exercised some serious restraint today. I got a walmart giftcard as an early Christmas preasent but I only bought one book while I was there, because as I told myself I need new music more than I need new books. (My ipod is in desperate need of new music; I have been listening to the same songs for far to long.) No doubt I will receive some giftcards for Christmas too, so I need to keep purchases to a minimum. I hope that is possible!
The Iron Knight (Iron Fey, #4) by Julie Kagawa

message 42: by Joy (last edited Dec 20, 2011 11:48PM) (new)

Joy Dragons of Autumn Twilight. This is sort of a gift and a personal buy as well. This next year I want to start reading the Dragonlance series, and my husband has them all (or most of them!) But his copy of this one was FALLING APART! I have tried to read it twice and each time had to put it down, simply because I cannot read a book that has pages falling out of it! And the cover is barely hanging on! (The thing is like 2o years old!) lol...So I got it to replace the old copy and so I could enjoy reading "A new" book. I also got The Hunger Games for my Kindle! I got a few freebies for the kindle too, but I won't list them here.

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins Dragons of Autumn Twilight (Dragonlance Chronicles, #1) by Margaret Weis

John Grisham's Theodore Boone Kid lawyer Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer by John Grisham .
And for myself, I bought Diana Gabaldon's The Scottish Prisoner The Scottish Prisoner A Lord John Grey Novel by Diana Gabaldon

message 44: by Stefani (new)
