Yah, I got it a couple years ago at a Brian Jacques book signing. The recipes are good, it's worth buying.

My dad does not get the whole peaceful Redwall thing! At first he thought that you were actually supposed to cook the animals!

Hahahaha! You can't expect someone who hasn't read the books to get it right away. My brother made a remark like that when I got mine.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

That's funny!I was completlet appalled when he said that!

The cookbook has a mini story in it along with all the dishes. Have you read all the books?

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Nearly . . .I'm kinda jumping around and now I'm on Marlfox.I'm a little stuck on that one because it's a bit slow . . .

That one took me forever to finish the first time I read it, it's great though.

How many Red wall books are there? I've read about 10-13 of them.

******☠Ŗąνĕŋ☠****** (DeathIsAMelody) I dunno....around 30..I've read them all about a hundredtimes.

Anne (anneveneman) | 423 comments Mod
There's not 30. There will be 22 when the new one comes out :)

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know. I go through them slowly, because I keep getting sidetracked by other books. The Outcast of Redwall really disappointed me.

That one was not my favorite. But I'm a big fan of pretty much everything Jacques writes so it didn't bother me too much.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

It was OK, but I was expecting something better.

******☠Ŗąνĕŋ☠****** (DeathIsAMelody) The outcast...the one 'bout Veil? I thought it was good..Well, I think that EVERY redwall book is good....so I dont know....

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Pearls of Lutra, the Bellmaker and High Rhulain are my favorites. I've read and own all of the Redwall series and haven't read one that didn't turn into an immediate favorite.

Redwallcrazy (redwallcrazybigkotfan) | 58 comments Pearls of Lutra, The Bellmaker, High Rhulian, Taggerung and Rakkety Tam are my favs! Hey, Elizabeth, how long did it take you to collect the entire series?

message 29: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Umm! I think about a year and a half. Most of my books are second hand. Expect the ones that have just come out.
