6. Death says that Liesel "has a mountain to climb." (p. 86) What is her mountain? Who are her climbing partners. What is her greatest obstacle.

The editor in me is cringing because Zusak could have skipped using a cliche to describe poor Liesel! Does anyone know the context of that quote? I had to return my copy to the library . . . .
