SECRET SANTAS

I'm going to assume that the people who I've heard nothing from since I sent their Santa information out are no longer taking part.
I'm still doing mine but had to order a replacement, I will post the day it arrives or the day after...
I'm going to, If I can find an address to post it to, it's just not acceptable and I would be mortified to send it to anyone, it's not THAT bad if I bought it for myself I wouldn't be all that bothered but it doesn't work as a gift so I ordered a new one in the mean time and need to try and find an address. If you don't have a printer it's much more difficult to return things to Amazon :(
hiya sorry been off a while im going to try send mine asap but still havent recived mine, what happens say if someones secret santa drops out and there expecting one ( not saying mine has but jw for others )
I don't mean to nag but can I remind everyone to please let me know when they post and receive please? preferably by message so there's no give aways about who you might have sent to. Thank you :)
My box was shipped to my recipient yesterday. The post here in the US said it should be delivered in time for Christmas.
It cost me £10 to post mine! If I'd known that i would have posted one slim book. Combine that with £10 for my forum advent swap and £4 for the IF secret Santa and then the price of the pressies I'll only do the advent swap next year.
O No- Just had a major panic that I've left a receipt inside mine - will have to take it back home, unwrap and rewrap - grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! Am so disorganised this year - big lumps of sorriness!!!!!

bloody hell, I didn't think it would be so much! that's rubbish, sorry :(

I shipped internationally, and the postage cost was almost $24US. I was kind of surprised with the postage costs too. But I do hope my recipient enjoys the books I selected. I got a few gently used paperbacks and 1 new. =)
No worries Jo - the experience of reading a good book, that lingers, is invaluable. I'm not even fussed if mine is a bit late. The weather has gone a bit wild and you know how that affects the post.
Thanks for organising it Jo!
Thanks for organising it Jo!
I was shocked that my postage was over £5 now that's seems cheap in comparison... :S
I would still be up for this next year I've quite enjoyed it hehe.
Must add that I haven't done any other swaps, so not too expensive for me.
:)

Never again!! I still don't know if everyone's received and some people seem to have dropped out without saying anything so I've had to send on their behalf but I give up, there's only so much messaging/nagging I can do before losing the will to live!

I think it would have to be the same qualification rules as the forum or even done on there instead:)

Thank you, but I was just having a whinge. I knew perfectly well it would happen so I only have myself to blame for not putting a back up plan in place. You live and learn, and it will be worth it all when everyone opens their presents on Christmas day *hopes* :)
I hope my person gets their package soon! =) Is there a different thread to post in when your box arrives?
I didn't see a thread, so I just wanted to post here that I received my package in today's mail. I've not opened it yet though; I'm waiting for the 25th!!

Yes, thank you (and well done!) for organising it, Jo. It must have been a headache at times :)
