Prologue
My name is Jessica Brody, I am a 18 year old girl from Brooklyn. I have the two best friends in the world, Adam and Isabelle.I have a pretty good resumé and was soon headed to University in the fall. My parents Lily and Jack Brody have always been there for me ever since I was abandoned in front of their restaurant doorstep. That's all I know about my birth; there was no birth certificate ,no name and no clue of where I came from. On my 16th birthday,my parents told me. I took it like anyone would but I didn't search for my biological parents. Until I went through something that was life changing and my biological family could only help me with. I need to find them.

Chapter 1

I was on a bus for what seemed like forever.The words on the letter played back over and over in my mind.FIND ME, I KNOW THE ANSWERS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.Is this a joke, because it doesn't seem very promising but since that is all I have, I have to try. Now all I had to do was convince Adam and Isabelle to come with me.

Chapter 2
I couldn't believe what I had found out.the lie I lived my whole life made me think I never really knew who I was. But I was determined to find out everything about my background. These things that I am going through aren't normal, I shouldn't be able to do this things, If only my parents understood. All I left them was a note to explain that I was finding answers. I turned and faced my two best friends Adam and Isabelle. I wouldn't have the strength to do this if they weren't here.

I think of what I believe I am, a witch...huh. That's pathetic,maybe I am losing it but either way I want to figure out the truth.
