Okay, okay. John Flanagan, the same author who writes the Ranger's Apprentice series, just came out with a new book for a new series entitled, Brotherband Chronicles, The Outcasts. So excited to read it!!!
That looks really interesting, Stephanie. I'll try the Ranger's Apprentice first. The title alone sounds good.
Two books I really want to read next year are Black Heart by Holly Black and whatever the next book after The Gray Wolf Throne is in the series by Cindy Williams Chima.

Transcendent: Tales of the Paranormal will be available about mid December. 8 great tales by some great authors, including Lani Woodland, Melanie Marks, and some of the mods here like Wendy Swore, Heather McCubbin, and me!!!
I'll let you all know when the book is released. I highly recommend this set of stories.
Transcendent Blurb:
Discover the secrets of a siren, fly with a hawk girl over the mountains of Montana, and flee supernatural party-crashers as the décor comes to life in this magical journey through paranormal stories.
Along the way, watch for ghosts in a haunted house, or ride through the moonlight with a stranger. Save a comatose boy who has lost his soul, and don’t forget to bring your garlic and wolfsbane—you never know when the shadows will snag you.
Transcendent includes eight stories of magic, love, death, and choice by some of the newest names in young adult fiction.

I've heard really good things about it but I haven't actually come across someone who's read it yet.
I started high school in 1989... Hey, I turn 37 this weekend, but I don't really feel any older than I did in high school.
Just finished 'The Legend of Kimberly: Inheritance'. A well written fantasy about losing someone you love, and discovering a world you never knew existed.
My friend Eric Loya and I are both Seniors at CSULB. I am graduating this semester with my BA in Creative Writing, Eric is graduating in the Spring with his BA in Literature. We are starting a literary journal, and were approved for a Kickstarter. We have 16 days to raise $2500. The pledge levels range from $1-$2000, and come with varying levels of awesome SWAG. The more you pledge the more you get. $50 bucks will get your name on the "Thank you page", a pdf of the magazine, a print copy of the magazine, a writing journal with the first issue's cover art, and a t-shirt with the first issue's cover art.
Every little bit helps. As proof please read my Philosophy on donating a dollar.
Thank you for reading, here is the link

P.S.
Please forward the link to anyone you think may be interested. Thank you again.
P.P.S
If you are worried about not having enough money for Christmas shopping, the way Kickstarter works, is if we don't reach our goal your financial obligation goes away. If we do reach our goal then the amount you pledged will be deducted from your bank account, via Amazon.com, after the fundraising period ends, which is December 26th, just in time to deposit that ten dollar check from grandma that you never know what to do with. Now you could turn that random trip to the bank into a print copy of "Werewolves and Other Bitches" and an awesome thank you to your grandma in print, in every copy of the journal.

Yesterday I joined all of the Nook users out there, but enough about that. Now that I have an ereader now, I've started Crushed by K.C. Blake and I' m liking it so far. You guys should check it out.
The description reminded me of I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You. In "I'd Tell You I Love You," the girls go to an all girl high school for spies in training. "Crushed" sounds a lot like it, only with magic instead of spy training.
Hi everyone! I'm excited to announce that my book trailer is finally finished and up! Go check it out! I love feedback. Enjoy!http://youtu.be/UC9b0UNmlg4
