This delightful series starts with The Salaryman's Wife. They are light and charming mysteries mostly set in Japan. The main character is an adorable young Californian/Japanese who loves her noodles and each book centers on one typically Japanese , uh, thing, like flower arranging or tea ceremonies or manga.
