Vampire ,Werewolf and Paranormal Addicts discussion

I wrote this a long time ago and it's an ongoing process but I have changed it so many times. Anyways here is the first chapter of my book... Short story? I don't know what I call it but yea

Cassie walked home from another boring day at school. Cassie walked inside and several people gathered together in the living room. She heard them talking but when they noticed she walked in, they stopped. Cassie felt that she was not wanted here so she went upstairs. Cassie sat in front of her computer screen and thought about her plans for tonight, she was going to hang out with her best friends Sara and Mia but she was snapped out her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door. “Cassie, can I come in?” Cassie’s aunt asked. Cassie just mumbled a yes.
“Cassie I need to tell you something very important”, Cassie’s aunt continued “Gabriel and Daniel are coming back, if fact they are downstairs”.
“What?!” Cassie answered. Cassie went storming downstairs and ran in the living room. On the couch she saw Gabriel and Daniel sitting. She could feel tears in her eyes so she ran out the door. She walked to Mia’s house. She was about to ring the bell when her cell phone rang. It was her dad.
“Cassie, come home, it doesn’t help running away from your problems”, her dad explained.
Cassie cut the phone and rang the bell. Mia and Sara appeared at the doorway. They went upstairs to Mia’s room. Cassie saw the room set up to watch a movie. Her favourite movie ‘Till Death Do We Part’ was on. Cassie quickly forgot her problems and grabbed a bag of popcorn.
All three girls were done crying their eyes out so they all decided to grab something to eat. Mia’s brother was cooking pasta for dinner so they all helped set up the table. Mia’s brother Alex was Mia’s caretaker because her mom died and her dad was off married to some Italian girl. Alex was married to a really nice girl named Anna.
Anna and Alex put the food on the table and everyone started to eat. When everyone was done, Cassie volunteered to help Alex and Anna to clean. She asked them if it was okay to stay over. They said of course but Alex could read Cassie as if she was an open book.
“Cassie I heard that Daniel and Gabriel were back and that they were staying with you”, Alex answered.
Cassie nodded but Alex continued “Hey, don’t feel down, it’s time to forgive both of them.” Cassie just nodded and Mia asked “Since we are friends I deserve to know what happened”.
Cassie answered, “Okay, let’s sit down and I will tell you all”. Cassie started her story from the beginning.
