Writing. Discussing a certain book, character, writer etc. Occasionally, a bit of PC gaming. Movies of course. Though very little music. And I hardly ever watch TV, unless there is a Pak cricket match on, and only if it is worth watching. I also do play chess, though not very regularly. And I also enjoy art, though I dont profess to understand much about art etc, nor pretend to. I would always enjoy something unconventional, enigmatic, weird, possibly even dark. So long as there is a method to it.
I believe he is referring to the one starting on this friday at Expo. This one is a must visit. http://www.kibf.com.pk/Karachi_Intern...
studying, movies, Tv, art & crafts, music, net surfing, gaming are my other hobbies besides reading.

Lev_Boy wrote: "@Zeeshan: Just found out that Expo Exhibit timmings are 10 to 7. Thought I shld share."Nope I got an email from the Readers Club dude saying the timings are from 10-9.
Oh lol. I actually called at Kitabian/Reader's Club, and someone on the other side told me it was 10-7.Was there today. And it was great. Glad that Readings stall was there, becoz dont thinkI wld have enjoyed the bookfair too much had that not being the case, since I am strictly into fiction stuff. Liberty's fiction section just wasnt upto the mark.

Totally. I been to their main bookstore in Lahore, and its almost like one big superstore. Their primary focus being fiction.
Well, they did mention that there wld be an outlet in khi pretty soon.

Yes that stall was great, everything but fiction was great :-P. There were lots of sections, religion, science, history etc etc.
AND PARAS, it feels good as long as I know you all were there, we recognize each other by the books we read not by faces ;-).

I agree about literary fiction and translations.
@Zeeshan
I do look at other sections other than fiction. I am just not affectionate with self-help one :p

I wonder why I was missing out on this convo. Visited thrice. Readings was way better than Liberty. Paramount had virtually nothing to offer. And oh, I asked the manager at Readings, said they will be coming to Karachi sometime soon.
Paras wrote: "umm not really. You understanding abt it seems to be flawed :p"
And if it stays flawed after joining goodreads then it will not be my fault will it? :-D

How that can turn into a philosophical discussion so I'll refrain from commenting anymore.
