I'm a charter member of Literazzi in Simi Valley, CA and took over the leadership role when our second esteemed leader, Sue Z., moved to Michigan in March of 2009. I've been an avid reader since the age of 5 and I love nothing better than reading and discussing books!
I'm a retired CPA who began a second career as an elementary school teacher only to find, upon completing my credential in 2006, that there were no jobs to be had near my home of 30 years. So, now I substitute teach, tutor, and volunteer at my local library and my church. I thoroughly enjoy my three illustrious and employed children: 29, 27, and 24 (an entrepreneur, a teacher and a CPA). I live with the best dog in the world, Cosette, and the most affectionate feline, Tigger, both getting older, like me. Oh--and a family of cottontails which has recently moved into the back yard.
