i just finished "Picking Cotton" a memior from a rape victim and her accused attacker. very compelling.
Both sound great and haved been added to my to read list. Thanks!
I really love these authors:Urban Fantasy:
Patricia Briggs
Ilona Andrews
Mystery:
Elizabeth Peters
Virginia Lanier
Karen Cantwell
Janet Evanovich
Oh... I'm not sure all of Karen Cantwell's books are on B&N. I know some of them are. So...how about...Frank Tuttle. He writes some awesome fantasy and I'm pretty sure he's on all the retailers. Most of his books are quite reasonable as well.
A recent book that I read that I have falling in love with is
. Not sure if it still is but it was only .99 at B&N when I bought it or I could lend it to you if you wanted to read it since its a lendable book.
I would definitely like to read it Tai.

@Sheila – I can only lend it out once and since I offered it up to Shardae first and she wants to read it I’m going to send it to her. Sorry but I did check and its still only .99 on the B&N site. Check out my nook lendable shelf maybe I have another book or two that might interest you. @Shardae – Because the book has the 14-day lendable limit tied to it just message me or email me at babybluegaia@yahoo.com when you’re ready for it. I hope you like it.
No, I completely get it, I didn't mean to step on any toes. I read the discription and reacted to that. It wasn't until I saw Sharae's response that I realized my error. I will deff. check out your lendable. Once I understand how to post mine I will return the favor.

Got it, thanks! I'll let you know when I'm done
Thanks Tai! it was really good.
I mostly read crime fiction, mysteries and thrillers, so it's perhaps odd that my favourite book is The Book Thief. I think some books just seem to transcend genre. They are just great books and need to be read.
I don't have a favorite book, but as a teen I think my favorite books would have to be the Harry Potter series, although I read all types of books. :)
Blue HeavenThis book is my favorite and I read it once a year and still laugh out loud. Don't read this out and about because people will think you are crazy because you are laughing so much!
I am wondering if anyone has read a book on the Nook that has pictures? Ia m an author and have thought about doing a book with pictures, but I am not sure how it will come out?Ellelapraim.com
My favorite book series is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, she is a fantastic author and for me her books were always page turners. I had to force myself to stop reading. I also love Anne Rice, if you love vampires and witches she has a ton to choose from

I read a couple of books on my nook 1st edition that had pictures and maps and was very disappointed. They were difficult to see and even harder to resize (especially the maps). I have since moved to a nook Tablet and it is much better.

I love many - The Wars of Light and Shadow by Janny Wurts, books by C.J. Cherryh, Carol Berg, Corrag, which I just finished. There are many many books.
The Legend of Humafantastic fantasy setting and a great read. think of huma as a king arthur type. good vs evil high fantasy.
