Was anyone else as disappointed with the winners as I was? Nothing I voted for won.

Ahh, I'm a member now. I can answer. I was disappointed in the choices. I haven't read let alone voted for any of them. I'm still playing chatch-up with the world of great literature. I like GRRM a lot but the series seems to be wearing a tad thin; I buy all of Steve Jobs' hardware / software and I'm still grieving; I have Divergent on my to-read list but it's liable to fall off even that shelf if I find out it's YA or anything like Hunger Games.

Well, you could have voted for write-ins in the first round. Many of the ones I voted for came in second.
