Does anyone know good sites for meeting and interacting with photographers? Maybe something through Ning, for example.

Meetup.com is probably better. They have local in-person groups.

If you are a pro, you should find a local chapter of Professional Photographers of America.

I would recommend GetDPI.com. It is a very active community with photographers of all abilities. It is also a nice place.

I find Model Mayhem useful for meeting photographers, models, beauticians and hair stylists.
