CASSIAN!!!!!or Will?
It was really hard for me to pick between Cassian and Will. I honestly love them both, Will more in the first one and Cassian more in the second one. But, in the end I really want her to be with Cassian he has always loved her for her. But, I have a feeling that it will end up being Cassian/Tamra and Will/Jacinda. I REALLY hope not though, lol. Gooooo Team CASSIAN!!
Yeah same hear i think Will is a little force ful i mean let the girl choose and OH CASSIAN!!!- he believs in her and gives her choices and freedom to choose and tamra is okay but i dont want her to end up with cassian!TEAM CASSIAN
Yea, I'm just excited for the book to come out so we can finally see what happens. Cassian/Jacinda <3
I actually prefer Will. Cassian is amazing, but Jacinda and Will make a much better couple, even if it is more complicated. Cassian and Tamra would be such a great couple, if he'd just let Jacinda go. So, I vote for Will :)
i seriously love Cassian! He's WAY to good for Jacinda. She's seriously stupid if she thinks her and Will could really trully be together. Even though Cassian doesn't say it directly, i know he loves Jacinda and she has feelings for him that weither she likes it or not are there.
I like Will, but I feel like everything is getting Twi-light-fied. I mean I like Twilight and about ever other love triangle book out there, but come on I am ready for a surprise. Because, I mean really most likely it will be Will and Jacinda, but where's the fun in that. LOL. I just want some series Cassian/Jacinda action :} LOL And plus I like Tamra and I think she is to good for Cassian. It would kind of make me mad if he all of a sudden wanted her out of no where when he want Jacinda before she even was the 'Fire-Starter'. So Team Cassian for me :)
Yeah totaly get that and Tamra i didn't like so much cause well she was really mean and Jacinda Needs to Get Her Act Together and Will Just CHill ,Cassian You are Perfect
lol yea. Tamra was kind of mean. Although, I guess I could see it in her point of view. I do really like Jacinda, more than Tamra. Tamra kind of got on my nerves some, cause she kind of never paid attention to the fact that Jacinda didn't even like being the center of attention. She just blamed everything on her like it was her fault, like Tamra asked for it or something.
Am I the only one who doesn't really like Will, like at all? *flinches at mean glares and gasps* It's kinda hard for me to buy into the whole "I'd give up my entire LIFE for you even though I know little about you besides you're really hot and don't want to kill me" I just really think their relationship is total LUST and not really love. The only reason she wanted to be around him in the first place was because when they made out her Draki came alive. It wasn't the tantalizing conversations they had. Plus, he seems a little controlling, like in Vanish he like freaked out when she said she wanted to go back to the pride and it almost seemed like he wanted to kidnap her. (my opinion)Cassian, on the other hand, loves her and has loved her for a long time. He loves her for who she is and was willing to let her go if she really wanted during their bonding. I just feel like their relationship is more real than her and Will's.
Well that was really long! sorry. long story short, go CASSIAN! and Will, eh....
(@maryanne) I can see that too, but I think Jacinda loves Will the way Cassian loves her, which is what makes it such a great love triangle. I think she could be with either one and be happy, but it sounds like she loves Will more. For example, Cassian tried to have strong feelings for Tamra, but just couldn't because he cares for Jacinda so much. Well it's the same for Jacinda- she tried to forget Will and be with Cassian, but she couldn't forget Will. Tamra is kind of a spare who's just wanted what she can't have because she can't have it.
I think I'd be happy no matter who she ends up with- but if she does end up with Cassian, I hope its when they're leading the pride together, instead of his father, because his father's kinda horrible! haha
As far as Will being controlling, I think Cassian's the same way...they both want Jacinda to do something specific, and would be willing to like kidnap her or something in order to make her do it.
Previously I said I'd choose Will for Jacinda, but Maryanne has a good point with how much Cassian loves her, so I'm in the middle now. It could work well either way.
I agree with you there and in Firelight Cassian Felt more Controling , Then in Vanish Will was very Controling i feel like Jacinda at times is really selfish at times too
And cassin Just turned out to be Great , he made some really hard choces , getting bonded , giving her space , and saving her at anytime he could
I think the biggest thing that bothers me about Will is that I really WANT to like him. Like the idea of him is awesome, a Romeo and Juliet thing where he's going against his family for his one true love...how romantic is that? I want to believe that these two lovebirds would do anything to be together. But unfortunately I just...don't. Who knows, maybe I missed something the first time and need to re-read it... But I think where it lacks is his character building. I really like Sophie's writing, but the one weak point, for me, is Will's character development. For some reason I never really connected and "fell in love" with him. Cassian, on the other hand, I did. I thought he was sweet (in his own special ways) and had a lot of depth and his and Jacinda's relationship consisted of much more than making out and a few small conversations. Or maybe I just like reading about "the hunt" and Cassian had to work for Jacinda and how her feelings grew slowly and wasn't sudden insta-love. (ug, I really don't like insta-love) That reason alone makes me like their little point of the triangle more.
Yea, I really agree with everybody's opinions. I like everybody, and want everybody to be happy. (@Maryanne) I totally agree with you about Will, although, I do like his character I don't feel any connection between him and Jacinda. I bet the last book is going to put everyone's love to the test I just hope that it's not to chessy and predictable. ~Cassian~
I go for TEAM WILL!!!!! so0o0o looking forward for Hidden.. hoping it will be a lot thicker than the first 2 books since there are a lot of questions left unanswered from Firelight and Vanish.. :3When's the movie gonna come out?
(@Candella)I know it was picked up for a movie, but I don't think they even have the actors picked out yet. So, it probably won't be for a few years or so. At least that is what I researched last.
I hope Cassian and Tamra don't end up together because it feels like it'll be out of pity. Like, "I can't have your sister, so I guess I'll be with you because the one I love has gone off with a draki hunter. Damn."
(@Wendy)yes, it may take a while for the movie. at least we Firelight fans are assured that it's gonna push through. last i heard, they already hired a writer for the movie. let's keep our fingers crossed and wish it'll be out by late next year :)
(@Candella)Yea, that would be amazing. I feel like I am always looking for updates. LOL. (@Rebecca) I totally agree. I think Tamra would be better off with a completely normal guy who loves for who she is not what she is.
(@Wendy) & (@Rebecca) I'm hoping the same for Tamra too. IF she ends up with Cassian, it'll be like a rebound relationship. Cassian's quite a bag though. :DAnyway, what HIDDEN draki powers does Will have to show?
(@Candella) Even though I believe that Jacinda's father is alive, I kind of think that Will might have some of his blood. So he might be a little like Cassian. And we already know he can do things with the earth... I guess we will just have to wait and see...
(@Wendy) We have the same theory regarding the twins' father though. gawsh, I AM SO EXCITED for Hidden. and i am so wishing it won't be the last book. >.<
(@Candella) I know! Part of me wants it to be the last book, because I HATE the wait. Lol. But, the other part of me was like I don't want it to end. I guess that is like most book series though you never want them to end.
Cassian for me, though I'm sure there's absolutely NO HOPE for him to win out over Will. I'll feel sorry for him if he ends up with Tamra, as I really think he'd be settling for second best in his heart. (Unless he proves to be incredibly fickle!) Really wish I’d be surprised and Jacinda would choose him instead of Will, but I won’t be holding my breath.
Carie wrote: "Cassian for me, though I'm sure there's absolutely NO HOPE for him to win out over Will. I'll feel sorry for him if he ends up with Tamra, as I really think he'd be settling for second best in his..."couldn't agree more!!!
Pretty sure Cassian WON'T get a happy ending with Jacinda, but after reading Vanish, he's who I am rooting for.
Azorianfireflyz wrote: "Pretty sure Cassian WON'T get a happy ending with Jacinda, but after reading Vanish, he's who I am rooting for."Amen! I'm totally with you, but I've been burned too often by preferring the underdog in YA paranormal romances lately, so I'm steeling myself for disappointment here. Hopefully she doesn't kill Cassian off in some unbelievably meaningless way to clear the way for Will. Can't say I haven't been infuriated with this type of thing in other series' finales recently...!!
Actually, in most books I read, I usually want the one that is obviously going to win out in the end. But, this book is just different for me. I REALLY, REALLY want Cassian to win! Lol. But, I agree with (@Carie) that there isn almost no hope. Well, except from the fans of course. <3 ~Cassian~ <3
well for me WILL is my bet......obviously he's the one she'll choose but yeah you're right I also wish that the author wouldn't kill CASSIAN I'm so tired with that kind of story line .. "kill the competition so that the heroine can choose yada...yada..."it's so annoying .... And you know what? this love triangle kinda reminds me of the love triangle in the Novel NIGHTSHADE .... REN is also CALLA 'S
"supposed to be husband " so that they can breed strong wolves together but unfortunately she fell in love with a human named SHAY which is forbidden by the way who also saves her life.... so does it ring a bell?

Edrillan (vampire junkie) wrote: "well for me WILL is my bet......obviously he's the one she'll choose but yeah you're right I also wish that the author wouldn't kill CASSIAN I'm so tired with that kind of story line .. "kill the ..."(@Edrillan) I totally agree with all that...Killing off the competition is the cowardly way to end a book, in my opinion. That's not as realistic (granted, being able to change into a dragon isn't either, but I digress). I've read both the Firelight series and Nightshade series as well, and they really are similar. The similarities between the characters is really close too- Cassian and Ren are soooooo much alike, and Will and Shay are almost exactly the same. I hate that both the authors in both series kill off Cassian/Ren...ugh, makes it almost not worth reading...almost :)
(@Edrillan) I do agree that that would be a crappy way to end a book. Although, I feel a different connection between Jacinda and Cassian than I did about Ren and Calla. But, I have only read the first book in the series - (@Rye <3 Ken).so, you kind of spoiled the whole Ren dieing for me lol It's ok though, I should have been caught up on all my reading lol ... sorry don't know how to make the heart by the way ... To me Ren was kind of a 'slut' through out most of the book and for Cassian it was Always Jacinda.
Wendy wrote: "(@Edrillan) I do agree that that would be a crappy way to end a book. Although, I feel a different connection between Jacinda and Cassian than I did about Ren and Calla. Someone else totally spoiled it for me too, but most people I know don't even read the two series, they read one or the other. sorry :P I agree though, Ren was kind of promiscuous and not very loyal, which I didn't like. I just don't get the feeling that Cassian actually likes Jacinda for her, though, just because of the kind of dragon she is...Will loves her despite of what she is (and because of it, even though he shouldn't, which makes for a more tragic and accurate love story :) In my opinion, anyway).
(@Rye heart <3 Ken) It's absolutely no problem. I really have not had time to read it lately lol. i basically had to barricade myself in my room for the final Harry Potter book. Somebody always spoiled those book but wouldn't let it happen for that one. I went back to the stone ages. I also missed practice at school that day (God I love my parents lol) anyways luckily I missed it, because the coach was like Fred dies sorry for anybody who hasn't read it lol. Anyways back to Firelight. Yea I do agree with what your saying and most likely she will end up with Will, but I just want to be surprised. Besides I really liked Cassian in the second book. He really stepped it up and Will idk he kind of irritated me in the second one, but I did like him better in the first one. Well I just hope I'm pleasantly surprised.*Chanting Cassian*Cassian*Cassian* lol
I know everybody is all Team Cassian, and yes I was Team Cassian for a little bit in Vanish. But then I switched back to WILL..I really hope Jacinda and Will end up together! Team Will! No offense Team Cassian fans I love Cassian too! Just not for Jacinda.

She always closed off her emotions for him, because she felt guilty about Tamara's obsession with him. She never opened up her heart to it and was very much set on having will. I'm team Cassian . I'm surprised none of the team Will people or cassian ppl, have yet to bring up what could have been what attracted Will to Jacinda. His Draki blood. To be honest, Will is dull and from what I read, his "love" for Jacinda was born out of the superficial. I don't buy that Cassian is only interested in Jacinda bc of the kind of Draki she is. Where is the proof in that based on the developments taking the three books into account?

Jacinda - Be a better person and be loving toward CASS
WILL- DON"T DO ANYTHing stupid- oh wait you already did
Tam- I don't think you will end up with cass i mean his married drake to YOUR SISTER!
i Love CASS will you were good but very selifish
