The books are arranged into four sections, roughly as they were when used in a college, the sections corresponding to the equivalent years in a four year degree. Begin with Section One, as it contains much of the basic (basic doesn't mean easy!) thought upon which the rest relies. It's not the worst thing ever if you don't start there, but it might be easier if you do. Roughly every month I'll highlight a different number of books as I read or in much of the case re-read them. If you step into this half way through, don't worry! There's no specific timeline for you, just begin with the book listed as #1 in the discussion group for Section One, and feel free to discuss anything which HAS a discussion folder for it. If you skip around, and which to discuss something I've not put up yet, you're pretty much on your own for discussion, but otherwise, the only important thing is reading and understanding the works. Enjoy!

And again, I encourage you to feel free to comment or debate even if years have passed. Education progresses at your pace.

Wow, the concept of this group is brilliant. I haven't had much of a look through the book lists yet, but when I'm done with the book I'm reading (the Iliad) I'm going start working my way through it. Looking forward to it :)
