So I always have trouble finishing long books. It's like after I get halfway through one, a restlessness wills me to stop and switch to a shorter book.
Here's the list of big books I'll be reading (so far):
Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions
Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge
The Nightmare Garden: The Iron Codex Book Two by Caitlin Kittredge
Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves
The Morganville Vampires: Volume 1 by Rachel Caine
Going Bovine by Libba Bray
The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman
You Against Me by Jenny Downham
Audition by Stasia Ward Kehoe
Hourglass by Myra McEntire
The Mephisto Covenant: The Redemption of Ajax by Trinity Faegan
Wildcat Fireflies by Amber Kizer

I finally finished my first book!
Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions was so good! I will definitely be checking out more from all the authors who wrote for this anthology! Check out my full review: http://wp.me/p23sCO-28

Even though I have plenty of books to finish that are over 400 pages. I picked up a new one today. Hopefully going to read it next week?
You Against Me by Jenny Downham.
Currently reading Raised by Wolves which is really good and I hope to be finishing tomorrow...but I suppose that's still TBD.

Finished Raised by Wolves byJennifer Lynn Barnes last night. It was sooo good. Right now I'm reading The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge and on deck is its sequel, The Nightmare Garden. I'm super excited about these two!

I wasn't even aware that Audition by Stasia Ward Kehoe is over 400 pages (exactly 458 pages, actually) until after I had already finished it. That's probably because I read it on my Kindle. It was a really good novel, written in verse, about a ballet dancer from a small town going to study in a bigger city, falling in love, and changing her life and dreams.

Again I was surprised that a book I was reading on my kindle happened to be over 400 pages. Hourglass byMyra McEntire is exactly 493 pages on the kindle edition which is really great. I really liked this one until it got to a mushy gushy ending :( Still, I will be first in line for its sequel, Timepiece, due to come out in the Summer of this year.
I think it's about time that I actually set a goal for this challenge so I can know if I actually won when the year terminates. So far I've managed to read four, so my goal will be...twelve? I think that sounds about fair.
A few days ago I picked up a few more books for the challenge at the library.
The Mephisto Covenant: The Redemption of Ajax by Trinity Faegen and Wildcat Fireflies by Amber Kizer ( this one is the sequel to Meridian, so I'll probably be rereading that...I don't think it's over 400 pages though)
Working my way through You Against Me by Jenny Downham. Lately I haven't been able to commit to a book unless it's absolutely gripping, so we'll see about this one. Next on my list, after that, is Trial by Fire, the sequel to Raised by Wolves, but unfortunately, this one is about 40 pages short of being over 400 pages. Oh well. I'll keep y'all posted on my progress!
