To make your own thread...Go to the grey bar that says Discussion Board near the top of the home page and click on 'new'.
Enter your name in the 'Topic' box. Save it into the 'Personal Reads' folder.
Enjoy!
If you belong to many different groups on Goodreads, you may like to use your personal thread to keep track of other group reads/challenges etc. Hopefully in the future we will be able to do this within our own profiles, but as yet this option is not available. Good luck with all your challenges!
Great new book out that totally matches up with a Kiwi perspective on Downton Abbey and modern day...I did a blog post on it (link below) called "Downtown Abbey Meets Invercargill." Love to have someone else read this awesome memoir so we can chat about it.http://susankiernanlewis.wordpress.co...
Anyone read Hannah Kent's books? She was great at the Dunedin Readers and Writers but whilst I managed the grimness of 'Burial Rites' Burial Rites
because it is a grim topic I found her 2nd novel 'The Good People'
The Good People
just constantly filth muck, mess and grimness without alleviation.
Is it me or did anyone else find the same?
