This amusement park is not a fun place, though it may look like such. Careful which ride you pick, you never know when you may be getting off.

Sarah slapped Helena's hand away. "Get the hell away from me, you monster! You two told me you would help me, then almost killed me!"

"I didn't try to kill you.I saved you!How was I to know that siren would do that!?!I was going to help you."Helena said with a sad tone in her voice.

"Whatever. Where are we, anyway?"

"We are at the circus."

"The circus?" Sarah raised a skeptical eyebrow. "Seriously? You brought me to the circus?"

"This was a last minute place to go to.I was trying to make sure nobody saw you escape."

((Seriously?I don't see why,but it's your business.))

Helena is using seduction power on Sarah."Sarah,please forgive me."Her eyes pleaded.

(Jenna and me both have a thing about circuses. I know everything about her because I live in her closet.) Sarah smiled sheepishly. "I guess you were just trying to help." (SHEEP!)

( SHEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!! )

Emery was in her tent carefully writing down events in the past hour and made sure clocks were working in the room. (the clocks are everywhere) She smiled and sighed her work was as usual the same and routiened she felt a bit bored.

Sarah bit her lip and glanced around. Immediately she was entranced by the bright lights of the circus. She grinned at Helena. "Come on Hell, let's go for a ride." Not waiting for an answer, she rushed into the crowds of expressionless people milling around the striped tents.

((I'm going to head off because I have to wake up at 5:00 AM. Write anyway, because I'm always on in the mornings.))

Emery glanced up seeing a few random people waunder in she looked at them for a moment and smiled "hello would you like to know your past present or future?' she asked taking out a pocket watch. After a couple minutes she showed the people some of there futures not all things they wanted to see. After a few other tricks she showed them leaving them in awe of the strange tricks they couldn't tell how she did them. They soon left th tent leaving Emery.

((oh ok ya me too early morning for me too *sigh* well see you I have school though so won't be on but will check in the morning))

Sarah rushed in. "Watt! If you can tell the future, I need to know if I'll ever get home!"

Emery looked up and smiled "what about your past or present?" She ask trying get Sarah off the subject. "Or perhaps a trick?" She suggested disappearing and reappearing behind Sarah

"I've seen enough tricks, I want to go home."

Emery smiled and pushed her into a chair she appeared into her own chair "I know who you are Sarah but do you?" She asked in riddles.

"Yes and I want to go home."

Emery sighed "time is very strange it can be altered and in your case it can be changed" she continued looking at the pocket watch.

Helena rushed in the tent."Sarah,this place may look fun,but really,there is a lot of bad energy around here."

Emery smiled up at Helena and "your very right" she said the doors automaticly closed "but it is fun...for me anyway"

Helena grabbed hold of Sarah."Keep holding on to me."Nobody heard Helena,except for Sarah.Then,Helena disappeared,taking Sarah with her.(Into Town)

Emery sighed and looked at her tarot cards "ah I will see them again this will be interesting" she smiled and leaned back.

Emery went in the back of the room and went into a private room enjoying the quiet except the clocks but she didn't mind.

Sarah burst into the room, almost knocking over a few clocks. "Look. I know you're probably going to do something awful to me here, but first I just need to know what you meant when you said time could change for me. Do you know how to get me home?"

Emery went into the main room and caught two clocks which were about to fall she set them aside and sighed "well hello again". "What I meant was that your future has many paths it can take for example I can end your story right now by killing you" she smiled and added "but I won't maybe I do know how to get you home who knows"

Tears brimmed in Sarah's eyes. "Please tell me! I'd do anything to get home!"

Ink stumbled his way through the Circus nervously. He didn't know what he was doing back, it was surely dangerous for him to be there. Too many rides to catch his eye. He shuddered at the thought and finally stopped at the place his awful existence had started- Emery's room. He remained silent and still by the door. Emery was talking to a human girl. Ink wondered briefly how long she would remain human, and how long her stay would be. What a silly question, he chided himself, no one can truly escape this place.

Emery looked at her and a flicker of sadness went threw Emery she said "I really don't know if you can really leave but the more you meet people you may be able to leave" she shrugged "there's a chance hardly anyone leaves"

(Emery reminds me of someone from a comic. Deep nerdiness kicking in.) Sarah sighed. "...Oh. Thanks anyway." She turned to go and stifled a small scream. "Oh, I didn't see you there!" Ink nodded silently, his dark eyes seeming to look through her.

((Ha ha which one?))

Emery called back to Sarah "I will see what I can do ok?" She hated that she felt she needed to help this girl. She saw ink and stared at him "what are you doing here again?"

(Julius from Alice in the Country of Hearts.) Ink looked terrified. "You did something to me," he whispered in a hoarse voice, "when I got on the ride. Fix me." (gtg be on early in the morning and most of tomorrow.)

"Did you enjoy the ride I hope you did" she looked at him coldly "you should thank me I fixed you for the better."

"Thank you?" Ink's voice was shaky and weak. "Fixed me? I can't feel anything anymore. Nothing, except the fear," he shook slightly. "The awful fear..." Sarah felt horrified, but couldn't force herself to run. She needed to get home, no matter what.

Emery looked at him "looking for this?" A mirror appeared holding Link's soul stuck in the glass "you lost it in the house of mirrors one of my favorite rides!" Emery looked at ink carefully with a dark smile in her face.

"Please!" Ink snatched for the glass, but cut his hand on the sharp edge. The mirror piece fell to the floor, shattering into small shards. Ink fell to the floor with it, trying to gather up the remains. "No! No, this can't be happening! Fix it! Fix it now! Fix me!"

Emery heard so many stories like this every day she sighed and tapped her pencil on the desk "what if you work here and after a while I give back your soul hum?" She asked

Ink hesitated, then shook his head. "I'll never stay here again."

"Oh really? Well that's to bad" she picked up the broken mirror and transformed it back into a new one.

Ink twitched slightly, his fingers drumming together nervously. "...How long."

Ink stared at Galatea as if he had just heard a good joke. "You. I guess this place really changes people. Let the human go, surely you've all caused enough trouble."

Karen followed Galatea watching everything around her it looked nice in a creepy way but the rides seemed fun she would like to try a few. Karen waved a little at Ink.

Emery didn't look amused she leaned back in her chair just watching then answered Ink "It depends souls aren't cheap you know"

"How long," Ink repeated, his eyes not leaving the glass. He couldn't see his reflection in it.

Emery said "7 months" she said and put away the mirror "if you want it can be even longer we always need help at the circus" she grinned

Karen didn't know what was happening and unlatched herself from Galatea and really didn't know what was happening. Emery looked dangerous so she really didn't want to be noticed much.

Suddenly Ink grabbed hold of Karen, holding his knife-like fingers to her throat. "Give me my soul or the human loses her head."
