((Sounds like fun! We can say it is forbidden to show your face to anybody in the world, except your family.))
((Yep! But I think you should know yourself, because what's the point of hiding your face and not know yourself? You have to hide for a reason. And! Lightbulb! What if there is a secret organization that knows who everyone is! And perhaps a plot could be involved with this organization! And I think it would be best when making a charrie to still have a face, because I think there'll come a point where faces will be revealed.))
((Let's begin! My charries are going to be friends with each other and I think Vana is the one who is on the inside of the secret organization and wants to stop them from doing whatever they do that is bad.))Vana Carson stepped out onto the street and started walking towards a cafe.
She stepped to the side to avoid walking into someone, but in the process bumped into a table a girl was sitting at.
((Sorry, peeps. I've been sick for the past week, so I haven't felt good enough to rp. I still am sick, so I probably won't rp quite often.))

"I'm..." she searched for a word, "frustrated with my job at the moment. Something's come up that I don't agree with."
"Ooh, job problems." Raelyn waved a hand at a waitress and gestured at Vana to sit down. "Would you like to drink anything?"
Vana took the seat, looking around. She was looking at the street when she answered, "Water and lemon would be good. Thanks."
"Oolong tea for me," said Raelyn to the waitress who left to get their beverages. "So, what's up?" Raelyn asked, watching Vana's nervous behavior.

He looked up, curious to see the stranger. "Rough day?"Vana forced her eyes to face the girl in front of her. "What do you mean?"
Vana smiled slightly. "It's almost my job to be on edge. There's something going on that really bothering me.""Anything you want to drink?" He gestured to the rows of bottles behind him.
"Interesting." Raelyn raised an eyebrow and propped her chin on her hand. "Pray tell."Isandra eyed the bottles. "Hmm... give me something mild, but with a slight kick. Please."
Vana glanced around nervously before she leaned closer. In a low voice, she said, "I should tell anyone this, but I just need to tell someone. I'm in a secret organization called Sciens Omnia."James smiled and nodded. "Coming up," he said as he took the glass he was cleaning and went to the counter behind him. He took a silvery cylinder, opened it, then plucked a bottle from the row lining the back. He poured it in, adding another bottle he selected, then twisted the lid closed. He gave it a few shakes before he unscrewed the lid and poured it in the glass. He turned around, setting the glass before her, then placed a neat umbrella in it.
"Um." Raelyn blinked once in mild surprise, then stood up abruptly. "Let's discuss this somewhere... more private.""Fancy," said Isandra to James with a slight side smile. "So, what makes it so that you're the only one here?" she asked as she took a sip.
Vana stood up also, nodding. "Yes. Do you know a good place?"He resumed cleaning out glasses. "This isn't my shift, usually. Someone called sick so I decided to step in. Not many people come here anymore. Got competition across the street."
Raelyn beckoned to Vana as she turned to leave. "Definitely," she said, tossing some money on the table and calling out, "Keep the change!" to the nearest waiter.Isandra glanced at the shop across the street over her shoulder and wrinkled her nose as she turned back and took another sip of her drink. "Don't see how," she muttered.
Vana followed, fighting the urge to flick her hood up to hide her face. Doing so would more likely attract attention than divert it, she supposed as she weaved her way around the tables.James scoffed in amusement. "It don't look it on the outside, but once you are in the inside, you'll see. And at night," he whistled,"gee, I sometimes wish I work there. But I'll never leave this nice old place."
"We'll be heading to my flat, a'right?" Raelyn said to Vana without looking at her as she made her way down the street.Isandra took a gander at James over her drink. "Mayhaps," she remarked lightly. But don't you prefer here?"
Vana began to nod, realizing she didn't introduce herself to this girl. "I'm Vana Carson, by the way," she said as she caught up with the girl.James nodded. "I do prefer here. The people who do come here are interesting. It's nice to hear their stories."
"Raelyn," she answered.Isandra tapped a finger against her glass. "What's yours?" she asked with a slight shrug.
Vana followed after her in silence, looking at the buildings they passed, wondering which on would be their destination."I don't have one, really," James said with a small smile, avoiding her question.
"Here w'are," said Raelyn, entering a tiny alley with a door on one said that had worn numbers at the top saying 537 1/2. "Looks shabby on the front, but it's all right inside," she said as she jammed a key into the door and began jiggling it.Isandra sighed and eyed James. "Pity. 'Twould have been fun to hear."
"No, it would be a sad one," James replied, not meeting her gaze.Craning her neck, she looked up at the building's roof, wondering if anyone else can see them. "That's fine," she replied distractedly to Raelyn.
"Pray tell," said Isandra, tapping a finger against her glass again. After a few moments, the door still wasn't open. Raelyn grumbled a bit and slammed her body against the door, stumbling in as it burst open. The sound of Raelyn crashing on the stairs was heard, until she popped her head out and waved Vana inside.
((Lol, I like the small humor. Makes it less serious.))Vana fought off a laugh and stepped in after Raelyn.
He looked up, stared at her for a moment, then nodded. Placing the glass in his hand down, he then walked around the bar to take a seat next to Isandra. "My mother left me and my father when I was seven. It changed my world. I suddenly questioned every memory I had with my parents and whether they were real. Soon after she left, when I was going to turn eight, my father decided he didn't want to be in the world anymore. I was left alone on the streets for a while, but the owner of this bar found me and took me in. I've been helping him with work here ever since."
((Haha, totally intentional. =D))Raelyn rubbed a bump on her head as she climbed the stairs, the shoddy workmanship causing nails to creak and boards to shake. They finally reached a broken down door and Raelyn opened that one without a squeak. She turned to Vana to explain, "The other one's for... uh... security reasons." She grinned until she realized the door had come off its hinges and had just fallen over because of disrepair. With a groan, Raelyn slapped her forehead with her palm and walked in.
((Haha, I can't help adding to the funnies.))
Isandra eyed him for a moment, then slid off her stool and took a few steps toward the door before hesitating, turning, and placing a hand on his shoulder. She patted him a few times and muttered, "I'm not one of those people who know exactly what to say in situations like these... so." And Isandra turned to leave once more.
((lol))Vana grimaced slightly and followed after Raelyn, carefully going around the door. "Well, at least no one would suspect I was here."
"Wait," he said quietly, holding out a hand. "I'm sorry for putting a downer on your probably nice day. It's in the past for me."
"True that!" Raelyn guided Vana around some large stacks of junk and into... a surprisingly nice living room. The couch was a pleasant lime green patterned with cream flowers, and a large comfy chair sat next to a (how did she afford it?) lovely fireplace, all around a pretty glass table. "Please, sit down," said Raelyn, gesturing to the couch and chair."Ha! Nice day?" Isandra scoffed. "Well, no matter my day. That's in... in the past too, I guess," she said with a shrug. "I just don't help... I'm not a good comforter."
Vana sat down with a sigh. "Wow. You have a nice place.""Oh, well, that's okay. being a good comforter is usually my job," he said letting his hand drop to his side.
"I try," said Raelyn with an absentminded wave of her hand. "Now," she opened a box of thin crackers and poured some clear, cool water into some dainty cups, "continue.""Then, erm, comfort... uh... comfort yourself for me, will you?" said Isandra awkwardly.
"As I said before, I'm in the organization, Sciens Omnia. And I just had a meeting before I ran into you. There were some disturbing things discussed," Vana said, becoming a little more serious.James laughed. "I think you've already did," he said with a smile.
