I request a debate topic. (But I haven't exactly decided what to debate ABOUT.)

Could we expand the group to make it about gender issues, also? Like sexism, prejudice against gays/transgenders, etc.?

No, I honestly think it's fine to talk about that, so long as people are careful, as you say it is sensitive but very relevant.:D And I didn't mean it in a sarcastic way or anything.

Could we have a topic about privileges––like white privilege, male privilege, heterosexual privilege, etc.? That is, something along the lines of, "if you have a privilege, do you even think about it?"

Sure, all head mods have the ability to grant requests.

Could you maybe do gender issues? As in male discrimination/female discrimination, and also the pressures to conform to your gender roles
e.g. men having to be tough and muscled and MANLY, whilst girls have to be soft and gentle anf FEMININE, and anyone who doesn't conform is scorned at..

Hmm I dunno, but what about size discrimination? I'm not sure if they're as much of a target for sympathy as the other worthy groups we've highlighted already here, but as we know, there is a growing segment of the global community who embrace the larger figure as a lifestyle choice.Should they be discriminated against for being fat or obese?

Yeah, I agree with Woolfie. A size discrimination topic. How most people just decide to cut off eating and become skeletal just really saddens me.

I request a topic on underaged sex and when is it really okay t give away your virginity. Should it be saved for after marriage for the person you truley love? Or should you just do it whenever you want because you want to?? Is it all a personal choice? Or is it the morals of those around us the affect our dicision? Is it even the novels, songs, movies and adds on T.V's that we watch or read that influences out choices??

I'm not sure how Underage Sex would deal with discrimination, segregation, or anything related to the group.

DON'T get me wrong. It's an awesome topic that I would love to discuss, but I'm not sure if it fits the group. I'd hate to make a topic that Streak wasn't okay with just to have it deleted or get her mad with me...

I doubt she would get mad about that EJ, I mean after all it's a relevant issue that most of on here have opinions about, but it's not really discrimination per se, unless you choose to apply the whole, peers discriminating against a person for not' putting out', then it might be considered.
