Book Haven discussion

Is anyone else experiencing a ton of glitches on Goodreads? For the past 4 days, I keep getting "page unavailable" when I do searches or I try to go into the "my books" section. Plus, a friend of mine... her author page disappeared!
Anyone else having issues?

Been having issues like that for some time now. Also when I hit My Books it takes me to someone else's page.

I haven't been having any issues on the actual site yet. My iPhone app hasn't been working though. I downloaded the latest update hoping that it would fix the problem but it hasn't. I can change settings and use the explore tab, but I can look at my books or the updates.

MY BOOKS page is empty

I still keep getting the message "Page unavailable" when I try to access mine! :(
Now you have me scared that when I finally get it back, I won't have any books on my shelves! :(

Yeah, I've gotten that from time to time ever since I started on goodreads.

I know it's not going to be a good day when I see a picture of Alice sitting in a chair.

But the goodreads team are pretty good about chasing down and addressing the bugs.

Usually if I exit the internet and try again, I'm able to bypass Alice.

Yes. It's very frustrating when I post something and it show up more than once. Maybe they need more space for all this information.

Has anyone else had the experience that they could have sworn they've rated &/or reviewed a book, and then find the rating/review missing later? I've had a few things migrate back to "to-read", months after I've read them.

Yes indeed...when I try to add my book cover it only adds the name/link. Also, I have seen reviews posted that mysteriously never appeared

I've been having some of the same problems with my iPhone app - wouldn't let me update books, or tell me that something is "unavailable", etc. That's pretty much fixed, but then I started having problems with the website itself. I was wondering why I hadn't received any of the updates, etc. Each time I tried to get onto the website, it would tell me I had to double-check my email info because it wasn't correct, and that messages to my email were bouncing. I wasn't having any trouble with my email, so I figured it had to be the website. Seems like it's finally "fixed", because I can finally get into the site! Yay! :)

I've been getting the "page unavailable" error and I haven't been able to go into my inbox for the past month. Everytime I try to go into my inbox it keeps saying that I'm signed in twice and wants me to combine my goodreads account with MY SISTER'S FACEBOOK account. I don't know why that's happening.

I've had it happen a couple of times where I'll be posting a comment and it will completely distort what I said or won't post at all. Also when I go to the Groups page it never stops loading, even when all the stuff is up on the screen. I can't press the back button or access my account or anything! It sucks eggs.

I haven't had any serious problems, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I draw them like a magnet.

I just had a lovely (note sarcasm) glitch where I couldn't exit out of my notification menu without refreshing the page. I miss being able to hit that little x button to get rid of things...lol.

I constantly get glitches on GR when I'm on my computer. Sometimes the page won't fully load meaning when I click notifications it will bring me to a seperate page for them. Also whenever I make a comment it brings me back to the homepage rather then keep me on the page I was on. Also can't make status or book updates when its like this. Can't click on explore..I usually have to reload the Goodreads page 5 times until it finally allows me to do these things and that girl in the rocking chair? Ooh..dont even get me started on her!

I've been running into this all day. Thought it was just my work computer being persnickery. I will try to access again at home tonight.

The site was working good for me all last week now it's started up again. Same ole problem too..wont load notications and brings me back to the home page after commenting.
