Have you gone to bookstores in your area, and libraries and look through the books, or even ask the booksellers or librarians? I know that today is way different then when I grew up reading it. I admit I write more toward erotic, but did have one sweet paranormal/urban fantasy super hero romance short as an Amazon short. They did not go to bed at all, though at end he tells her he has a nice king-sized bed in his secret hideout and he whisks her away. But no show and tell. It's To Save the Day. It's only 49 cents. http://www.amazon.com/To-Save-the-Day...And at Cobblestone Quarterly Press I did a G-rated short medieval romance story, 'Old Friends," that is in their December 2007 issue. It's a pdf and you can download it free. here's link: http://www.cobblestone-press.com/cata...
How about the older romances--though most gothic romances and n o paranormal much. Like I read Victoria Holt's Mistress of Mellyn in 7th Grade--it was in my jr. high school's library.
But go to bookstores--esp. to YA section and even ask the booksellers there, what is the more cleaner of the YA romances there.

At the risk of being accused of self-promotion, my paranormal fantasy series is clean. I decided when I first started writing that I was going to contribute to the world of clean paranormal fantasy books, as they seem to be few and far between. I've had lots of comments from adult readers who were happy they could share my books with pre-teen girls.Book 1 is Blood And Guitars and can be found here on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
Book 2 is Immortals And Melodies and can be found here: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14...

I am currently having her read this Shanna Swendson series:
1. "Enchanted, Inc."
2. "Once Upon Stilettos"
3. "Damsel Under Stress"
4. "Don't Hex with Texas"
I've only read part way through book two, but so far it's been a good clean set of stories.
I've also had her read the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, but had I read the fourth book first I wouldn't have wanted her to read the series until she was a bit older. Although over all it was a great series!
I recently read "The Bride Finder" by by Susan Carroll and enjoyed it, but don't plan to have my daughter read it. The other books I read in that series were "The Night Drifter" and "Midnight Bride". I don't think there were any more in that series.
Does anyone have any other recommendations I could read and then let my daughter read?
Thanks in advance!
