Felicity bounced into the classroom. Art one of her most favorite classes. Alwats had been, always will be.
Chaz sighed and looked at a ruler, the numbers slightly confusing him. He hated math, but art was different. He enjoyed it sometimes if it didn't have anything to do with numbers.
The only open seat left was next to Chaz, but she didn't mind. Felicity made her way over to the table and sat down.
When he noticed Felicity, Chaz just avoided making eye contact and turned his head to the side as he flipped the ruler upside-down. These numbers were hard to understand and he didn't like it.
Felicity put her hair up in a bun, not really noticing how Chaz was avoiding looking at her. She pulled a notebook out of her backpack along with a pencil.
Chaz finally gave up on the ruler and just put it down with an irritated look. He noticed Felicity had taken out a notebook and wondered what she was going to do, looking at the notebook curiously.
Felicity opened the notebook and turned through the pages. it contained her drawings. They were good, and even excellent at times.
Chaz looked at the drawings with interest. He opened up one of his own notebooks and looked at the best picture he had in there. ((IMMA POST THIS PIC LINK!

( :O WOLVES!! ♥ lol))Felicity looked over at his picture and smiled. It was really well done. "I like your picture," she said softly while giving him a friendly little nudge.
"Thanks," she said with a grin. Not many people saw her pictures, so she didn't get compliments on them.
"This picture took a little while, but this one took about a week to get even the tiniest details in it," he said, flipping the page to show a mountain lion in a tree. "I like to focus on drawing different animals."((http://www.charcoal-drawings-prints.c... ITZ A COUGAR))
Felicity put her finger on the page, tracing the cougar with her finger tip, "This is amazing," she breathed. Felicity was horible with fine detailing, so she was in awe.
"Not really, sometimes I mess up because I accidentally break my pencils or other art stuff. I hate it when that happens, gripping them too hard. But I can't stand math. The numbers just look like ripples of lines," Chaz shook his head and didn't even look at the ruler in front of him, pushing it away with disgust.
"You kinda sound like my friend Erik. Well about the numbers looking like ripples and such. He's extremely dyslexic, so he can't read much of anything, even numbers," Felicity said as she pulled her hand away from the picture.
"I can't do a lot of things right. I'm also visual perceptual, so sometimes I mistake letters like b for d, p for q or inversions like u for n, and w for m. It's also really hard to find my way around campus, and my eyes hurt and itch, so I rub them. Even the print blurs while I try to read. I can't copy things down very accurately and when I read, I lose my place a lot. I can't recognize an object/word if only part of it is shown, hold my pencil too tightly and often break it, and it's hard to cut stuff with scissors." Chaz sighed, "Sorry, I know I talk too much," he smiled sheepishly and looked back at his notebook.
She smiled, "Don't worry about. And really, you could consider yourself lucky. Atleast you don't have random episodes of pure pain," she said with a sigh.
"Well once I actually sliced open my hand with scissors because of the stupid perceptual thing," Chaz slightly held up his hand, and from the middle of his palm to his wrist was a large scar showing the leftover trace of stitches, "It hurt a lot."
Felicity looked at the scar for a moment before looking up at his face, "Have you ever heard of Sickle-Cell Anemia?" she asked.
"Sickle, cell, anemia..." he sounded out the words to himself, trying to think if he had or not, "What's sickle-cell amnia?"((i know i spelled it wrong, he said it wrong))
((okie dokie xD))"Anemia," she corrected lightly. "And it's a condition where some of your red blood cells are shaped like sickles, so they can't carry enough oxygen to your brain. It causes alot of things, and one of those things is episodes of intense pain," she said softly.
"What are sickles?" Chaz felt pretty stupid not knowing this stuff, and didn't see why he was asking so many questions.
"It's like this," she said before opening her notebook to a clean page and drawing a sickle shape. The shape of so many of her red blood cells.
"Oh okay. I think I might of seen one of those things before. I got cut in the side by some animal's horns that were shaped like that," he looked at the picture and tilted his head to the side slightly.
"Yeah-wait! You got attack by an animal with horns?" she asked. Was it just her or did that not happen everyday.
"Yeah, I lived in the Ural mountains until I was 10. I'm not from this country," Chaz looked at Felicity and then back down at his notebook, looking at the drawings in it.
