An Active Novel RP Game created by Devlin Scott (idea copyrighted 2011)
A brief description of an Active Novel RP: this is a creation of mine to help make RP’ing a bit more exciting. All players create as many characters as they like and play ‘their’ stories as they choose. However, from time to time a MODERATOR will interrupt your gameplay with a 'new twist' post. You may choose to deal with this post however you wish.
EXAMPLE: Lefty Paul and Hook-nosed Linda, who work for different Mob families, are making out in the back of a limo. (While these two players are having a good time with their character's interactions a MOD decides to interrupt by adding a post informing the players that someone has just ‘jacked’ the limo and is tearing off down the street. The players controlling Paul and Linda must now deal with this new twist...any way they choose.)
In this game the MODERATORS create an ever evolving storyline to keep everyone entertained and active.
Some general advice:
This is a modern times game, we can use cell phones etc.
I've created different doctor's offices for each family so you can have more private conversations...the wounded may be your family but that doesn't mean they can be trusted!
I know I made some general use rules for the RP storyline threads but please feel free to break them...you are mobsters after all... :D
