I can't reread a book. It bores me to death. The thing that keeps me motivated when reading a book is that I want to know what happens next, but when I reread a book I (Obviously) already know.

So, I'm just curious, does anyone else have this problem?

Can't say I have. What makes me rereading a book is to go back to the characters and their moments, because I don't want to say goodbye.

Stephanie (Bookfever) (bookfever) I don't have that problem, either. I've reread The Host the most and I keep loving it. I'd reread other books also but I have so much other book I need to read so I can't really find the time to reread others.

message 7: by Annie (new)

Annie | 166 comments I've only ever reread Inkheart and Harry Potter. I'm one of those Harry Potter geeks who cried after the last movie had ended and I've also read an enormous amount of fanfiction :D:D But yeah Harry Potter is the only book I can reread without getting bored.

Shotgunguyiscool ♉ (shotgunguyiscool) | 199 comments I love to reread books!! It's like, you fall in love with the characters once again.

I cannot reread the beginning of The Host. I have to skip straight to the part where either Jeb finds her or when Jared slaps her. The beginning is so boring to me.

jared slaps her, that sounds so... you know.

vejce | 6 comments I do that often! More than I would like to. I reread LotR and Hobbit about 13 times. :-D I do it every year at least 3 times. And I don't skip anything! :-D I'm a weirdo.
Also when I'm waiting for next book to be released I reread every single book in series. So...:-D

message 12: by Arushi (new)

Arushi (arushilisa) I try to reread books but for the most part, I end up skipping around for my favorite parts...unless its a book i havent read in a year or two, then i would read the whole thing :)

except city of glass which i read 3 times <3

message 13: by Jill (new)

Jill I have no problem re reading books, especially ones that I have really enjoyed. I often find I pick up new things that I didn't catch first time round.

.·:*¨ × Shannon♥Stelena&Bamon&Sydrian × ¨*: (amethyst_angel) | 151 comments Hmm. If it's one of my huge favorites, i'll reread it but i mostly like reading my favorite parts though not long after i get absorbed into the story once again. =]

I hate rereading books I find it really boring the only books I've ever reread is the host and the diary of Anne frank and that is only because I completely forgot what happened. I'm planning on rereading twilight because I read it years ago and cannot remember what happened except the birth scene, that. I wish I could forget

I don't have time to reread books. There are so many others I want to read. :)

message 20: by Jojobean (new)

Jojobean I love re-reading books. I re-read Nevermore (Nevermore, #1) by Kelly Creagh all the time as well as others like Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson Angels & Demons (Robert Langdon, #1) by Dan Brown Newes from the Dead by Mary Hooper At the Sign of the Sugared Plum by Mary Hooper Petals in the Ashes by Mary Hooper and others.

I also re-read books when I can't remember what happened especially if I want to continue a series

message 21: by Shelby (new)

Shelby | 13 comments I love to re read books. Something Witchy This Way Comes, Fifty Shades of Grey, Playing for Keeps, and Beautiful Disaster are usually my go to re reads when I can't find a book I want to read. I know I love them and won't be disappointed. Also, if a new book in a series is coming out and I don't remember everything I'll re read a series to get a refresher before I read the book that's about to come out in the series.
