Im going to read more, write more and take a photo every day-my friend did that this year, and having a year in photos is totally cool.

Hmmm.... I don't know what my Resolution will be this year... Mine for 2011 was to be less judgmental and that worked out really well so I think I'll aim to do that again as well as something else-- but I'm not sure what.
I like the one about reading and writing more. Plus, I want to be better about keeping my Goodreads bookshelf up to date. But beyond that, I'm going to think of something else. I just haven't gotten there yet.
Mine is to not spend a dollar on games or books, and to save for concerts and sporting events next year
1. Do the 365 day project (like the picture a day thing but slightly different)2. Paint/draw/write/read/photograph more
3. Be less judging of others
4. Volunteer more
5. Not procrastinate as much
6. Be early instead of nearly on time
Those are my big ones I am sharing
As someone who didn't reach her goal last year (*sigh*), I'm setting the bar kinda low this year. But one of my reading resolutions this year is to stop reading books when they're no longer fun or interesting, too. This year I'm only challenging myself to read 50 books.
This year I'm going to start telling the truth to my mom.(We Don't get along what so ever)and I Lie to her about everything.2nd stop lying to my friends and family about my life at home...(Long story)3rd make school come first and to stay out of trouble
This year I plan to do a lot, some of the things I want to do this year I never thought i would be doing. But I'm not going to mention them so i'll start with the easy ones.
1. i want to keep my rooms clean.
2. get along better with my family.
3. Stop spending my money on clothes and books. (matbe just a few books, that wont hurt) :)
4. Control myself better in situations so i dont get angry.
5. Start writing more. my friends and teachers say im good i dont know why.
6. do my best at school, like getting into things more, staying out of trouble and try to be nice to the people i dont like.

Something like 60% of people fail their New Years resolutions by the end of January. So far I've taken a photo and worked out for everyday, how is everyone else going?
Well, I had the unfortunate luck of having midterm preparations take up literally all of my time, preventing me from going through with my plan to read, write, and play the piano every day. But I realized it was happening, so I put my resolutions on hold until tomorrow. So hopefully I can start up again. Not quite the traditional way to do it, but better than just giving up, I'd say.
Klara wrote: "to stop eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon"Nah, I don't think I would ever stop that.

In response to Jess (post 15),
One was a fail because I ended up sick for a week and didn't take a single picture. So instead I am taking a picture a week starting Sunday. Two has been accomplished so far and it should stay that way. Three has worked well and I have tried to be very less judging. Four hasn't been so well accomplished, I am volunteering like I was before. Five has been completed pretty nicely so far and six has been accomplished well so far too. My other ones I am not posting are going well too.
Mine are to read way more than in 2011, and to stick to vegetarianism. I tried being a vegetarian last year for about two months, but I fell out of it somehow. But, I am doing it again, and I am doing fine so far.

Tina wrote: "one of my goals is to try not to say 'um' or 'uh' too much"That's a good goal, I used to say 'you know' alot and I made myself quit because using phrases like that make you sound like you have no idea what you were talking about.

That would be impossible :/ Good luck!

My goal is to get to know more genres and authors.

Does anyone have any New Years Resolutions and/or goals?
