Me too. I just LOVE "On the Night of the seventh Moon." I have read it at least 3 times. I haven't heard of the other one you mention. will have to check it out.I just read a wonderful gothic called "Rommany". I could not get it at the library or through Inter Library Loan, so bought a used one on Amazon for 1 cent. The shipping cost more-LOL. But it was worth eevery penny. I love the first Victoria Holt too, "Mistress of mellyn"
If you can find books by Madeleine Brent, they are terrific.

I just read a wonderful gothic call..."
Oh I LOVE Madeleine Brent! My favorite is Moonraker's Bride. It was one that actually managed to surprise me. LOVE IT!!!
Have you ever read Carola Salisbury? Very Madeleine Brent-ish. My favorite is The Winter Bride.
Still strange to think both these writers were men. lol

OK, am startled! I did not know these authors were male! I loved V Holt, P Whitney, and M Brent when I was a teen. I still like them once in a while now. Creepy and yet fun!

I do prefer the ones that aren't actual ghost stories, though.
