Since this is the month of new beginnings, all you need to do is read an author you have not read before. One book will do. If you read more, that's just icing on the cake!

Me too. Not sure yet what book it will be. I am now reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. But this is still december.
If you finish it in January, it'll count. At least according to my rules. :)
I'm sure I'll read a new to me author in January, just not sure I'll remember to post it here. lol One of my BOM reads is Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier.
