That video is awesome. After reading Black Swan Green, I noticed the ways he avoids 'hangman' in his speech. Made me want to shake his hand and tell him he is ace.

Ha, no kidding. I have made it my life's goal to meet him, one day, it'll happen.

I'm kicking myself. A few years ago he came to speak/teach at a local summer writer's workshop and I didn't find out about it until it was over!

Great link, Terry! But what manner of wrong-headedness could possibly keep your friend from reading Mitchell?

It's good to get the progress report on Mitchell's latest. Middle stages, evidently.
