same here, I read about Mughal empire in the school just as I read about the history of Pakistan. I am sure they don't teach the brutal realities in school.

for mughal time period... there is some book in urdu like akbarnama or something. Someone recommended reading it once, I never did but its claimed that its available in urdu bazar.
