What does everyone think of this series?

I've seen all 4 seasons and am hating the wait for season 5!!!

I absolutely love True Blood, truthfully I'm addicted to it (as well as The Vampire Diaries). It's really hard waiting for the new season to start. I liked Sookie with Eric and couldn't stand her with Bill. I have a feeling she's going to be with Alcide this season. What do you guys think?

I've watched the first 3. Need to watch season 4 so please hide spoilers or I'll have a fit and start to resemble a washed up fish. I seriously dislike Bill and have yet to figure out the appeal--I didn't quite get it in the books either. Eric, on the other hand, has way more appeal. So does Alcide visually, but as a presence on the show (up until the end of season 3, at least), I felt he was lacking in personality a little compared to the books.

I can't remember who she was with in book 5, so I'm not sure who she'll be with in Season 5

IMO, I think they only characters they have transferred from the books spot on is Sam & Pam <---- Tee Hee!!!

I really like Sam. He can growl in his sleep as much as he likes. Apparently, I growl in my sleep a lot so he'd be in good company.

I hate that they introduced Jessica when she isn't even in the books, and she has such a big part in the series. and I can't wait to meet Quinn

I also think we met Sophie-Ann too early :/

It's been ages since I read the books so I can remember what happens in what books and when to expect who. I'm intrigued to see who they get to play Quinn, though. I liked his character.

I just started to reading the book (I'm 66% in book one) And I really like the books too! I think I even prefer them! (Though I prefer looking at Eric instead of imagining! lol!)

I think the books are very different to the series, I personally love them both but I gave up on comparing them a long time ago. I'll take them as almost different entities...Eric...yum!

I'm looking forward to Claude and I'm interested to see if they have a Dermot or not! And Amelia?!

I love True Blood, cannot wait till June! I prefer the books though, and hope they steer the tv show back towards being more similar to the books, think they strayed too far away in the last series

I still need to catch up on season 5!!
