I wrote The Other Side of Eve based of my own experiences with anxiety/panic attacks and the myriad of advice, medication, hypnosis and dealing with this while at high school and beyond. I'm in my 30's now.
The Other Side of Eve follows two stories combined as one, one here and now with Eve and one far way in a place called Mare-Marie where Eve's fear is turning into a black oil that seeps from a rock in a river, fueling an evil witch and the creatures of the dark. A princess must also face her fears as she is destined to leave her tower and kill the witch.
Eve must control her fears before the darkness ultimately destroys Mare-Marie and someone very special who lives there.
Written for Middle Grade and above. I'm not writing this as a pitch but I hope to get this book into the hands of young readers, especially the anxious ones that need to get away from it all and follow someone else that is young & anxious.
Currently have a giveaway of x2 paperbacks if anyone is interested in entering.
