I've been back to Italy twice this month (get me!) and enjoyed both visits. Am currently in England and Ireland too so not making great progress on my trip but there we are.

:-) Well England is the same old same old as I don't think I have ever spent it anywhere else!

No you didn't. I liked it and do want to read the others of the trilogy. It wasnt an 'I can't wait to get to the end to find out what happened' but was a good story with interesting characters and plot. Yes, take it off the shelf and stick your nose in it! :-D

I just got child 44 too. It was discounted on Amazon Kindle! Are you planning on reading it soon, Judy?
