"Hi," Heather said to Joseph as she placed her feet into the water, "Do you mind if I ask you something?"
"No. Why?" Joseph said, after he had reached the surface.
"AND?" Joseph said, turning to Heather.
Lissa walked in, wearing a hot green bikini.
Lissa smiled. "Not as good as you!' Lissa flipped into the water, diving in gracefully.
Lissa screamed and tried to swim away, starting a game she used to play as a kid.
Lissa laughed. "It's a game;I used to play it as a kid. One acts all rough and tough and one is trying to run away." Lissa blushed.
Lissa squealed, getting into she started swimming.
Lissa disappeared;And I mean disappeared!
Kari stepped into the swimming area. Her face fell when she saw Zach with Lissa. She quickly averted her eyes away from them, and just kept walking.
Lissa reappeared on his back and dove back in the water, laughing. Wen she go tto th esurface, she sighed. "Sorry 'bout that! I used to do that to my brother.... He'd never understand. He's not a demigod."
Joseph rose to the sruface and saw Kari. "Hello!"
"Not teleport exactly. MOre like dissapear for a time then teleport to anywhere I want to." Lissa laughed to.
Kari shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to tell him much. "Nothing big." She had had a crush on Joseph for a while. Then she liked Harris, the new kid, then Zach. But so far none of her "crushes" had even liked her back. So she was back to square one. She pulled her knees up and sat her chin on them.
Joseph smiled. "'Big' seems to be depressing." He sat down next to her.
Harris soon grew tired and climbed out. He came up next to a girl with her knees pulled up and dried off.
"Rawr tiger!" Lissa laughed again, pulling herself up on the ledge.
Kari now had two of her old crushes surrounding her. She groaned, but not loud enough for them to hear. She smiled at Joseph, despite herself. "You have no idea."
LIssa smiled. "Do you have any siblings?" SHe asked.
"Could you enlighen me?" He asked.
"Could you enlighen me?" He asked.
Kari frowned. "Well." She said. "It's just I like this, these, people." She said quietly. "And none of them like me back. I shouldn't be upset, but I just am."
"Hm." Lissa pulled up her knees and rested her head on them.
Joseph smiled, kind of reading her thoughts. "Are you free tomorrow night?"
Joseph smiled, kind of reading her thoughts. "Are you free tomorrow night?"
"Let's say, 6:30?"
Lissa looked at the water. "We were just playing." She started to cry.
Lissa looked at the water. "We were just playing." She started to cry.
She shook her head. "We didn't know. They just shoot him, just like that." She began to sob harder. "He was only 10 and I was 7!"
"Our 'neighbors'! We were trespassing and they didn't even warn us!" Lissa said before she dove in the pool.
Lissa allowed herself. She was still crying. "Who would do that?"
Lissa laughed and tried stop crying.
LIssa nodded, whiping tears away. "I shouldn't worrying you with my troubles."
Lissa did the same. "Hey, I'm going to go change. I meet you at China TOwn? That new restuant thingy?"
Joseph nodded, smiling and left.
