do people like the books or the films or both?
i think it is an over-rated book and films. but that is my personal view of it

i really really think the books are terrible and I really really do think the movies are terrible too. OVER RATED

I think the books are ok, I read them when they first came out because my eldest daughter wanted to read them and at the time, she was a very young teenager (I don't censor her reading, but like to know that she won't be upset by unnecessary violence). I recall thinking they were quite good, not literary masterpieces, but they don’t pretend to be.

My youngest daughter is now a huge fan and we have to revisit the films too. I don’t think the films are a patch on the books, but I never think films are as good as books. I spent several evenings recently sitting through the DVDs with my daughter, and whilst I can think of better ways to spend my time, it was ok

I’m not overly keen on all the derisory comments made about Twilight and their fans. The enthusiasm shown by the fans indicates that the books have merit, even if they are not everyone’s cup of tea.
