The Field
April started knotting and braiding some grass, making a necklace out of it. Evie gasped lously. "Teach me how!" she said, crawling in April's lap and watching, fascinated as she showed her.
Peter walked over to April."the zombies must be combusting because it is hot in here.James laughed at his foolish brother
Evie made a face at peter. "Zombies don't combust, silly!" she said.April patted her head. "Good point Evie. I'd come up with a better pick up line than that."
"they can if you got the material." John corrected thinking "bombs and flamethrowers would be nice."Peter laughed."see, and a new one would be I find you very attractive."
April sneezed loudly, and Evie looked at her. "Bless you," she said sweetly.April grinned. "Sorry. I'm allergic to bull."
"they say bless you because they used to believe you lost your soul when you sneezed" Peter said."and what bull" he was dumbfounded.
"Yeah they thought the devil was possessing you, and the bull about me being hot," April said, rolling her eyes.
Evie ran over to James and put a flower crown on his head, then sat down in front of him. "How is he acting cross eyed?"
Evie got a solemn look. "April doesn't talk about her scar," she said. "It's fine Evie," April finished the necklace and slipped it over her neck.
April flipped her hair back so they could see the whole scar. It covered her whole face, and it actually continued to go on her scalp but her hair had grown back in. it went down, over her eye lid, and over the edge of her mouth too. "I never said it didn't look tough," her mouth quirked up. "I just said it doesn't look pretty."
All I need is someone with good people skills to get the word out and send them to my tent cellar bunker place."
April clicked the lighter and sighed in frustration when it didn't work. She kept trying, but after five minutes she threw it at the wood, giving up.

This is the main field that would have the big tent and everyone else's smaller tents for sleeping. Also, all of the cars would be parked here- some people may choose to sleep in their car, if they have one.
Most of the children come out here to play.
