Are we into reading a book together in January? If so, nominate your choice!

I think the book club idea ran out of steam. We had a few people in the beginning, but then it tapered off, possibly in part because very similar books and authors were being voted on each month despite all the fascinating books that were nominated. If you want to revive t his, it might be a good idea to look at the voting process, as only a few that vote actually take part.

I would be prepared to nominate, vote and take part (providing it was a book I could get hold of ;-))

hmmm...I'll give it some thought. I just wondered what ever happened with it...thanks for the heads up!

Some of the books in 2011 did not necessarily appeal to me and I kind of lost touch. Perhaps it would be better to go the route of a discussion of what we've been reading and hope it sparks an interest for someone else...they would then pick up the book and read it too. Just my thoughts.

Good idea Babs! I can put up a "what are you reading" thread! I will do that today.
