One of my favorite books. I also liked most of the movies/TV series. A great, strong female character.

There are several. Check out your local library and see what they have. A toast to Jane Eyre!

If I'm not mistaken there's one called Becoming Jane

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

There is and I personally did not care for it. I felt the casting was off. My personal favorite:

Jane Eyre [videorecording] / Miramax Films presents ; in association with Rochester Films Ltd, Cineritmo S.R.L., Flach Film, Mediaset and R.C.S. Editori S.P.A. ; Eurimages ; a Riccardo Tozzi production ; screenplay by Hugh Whitemore and Franco Zeffirelli ; produced by Dyson Lovell ; directed by Franco Zeffirelli.

Starring: William Hurt, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Joan Plowright, Anna Paquin, Geraldine Chaplin.

Hi Natshane, That one was regarding Jane Austen, not Jane Eyre. Check out the IMDB link here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416508/

Jane (janeloveslife) | 3 comments Jane Eyre is such a strong female character, who despite the heap of hell dumped on her, emerges to be a kind, compassionate woman. One of my favorites.
