Sci Fi author who writes the American Gods series and also a few others. I think he is also considered a YA author.

I've just started Anansi Boys. I've heard good things about this one, looking forward to reading it.

This book has been on my TBR pile for a LONG time. I don't know why I haven't had the urge to read it, but I just haven't. I have to admit that I picked it put because I just finished much of my TBR pile and so many others have recommended it.
I love
. It was the very first fantasy book I ever read for pleasure. When I was a kid I started with the sweet valley twin books and then moved on to R.L. Stine. After that I stuck with thriller/mystery stuff. Then I found neverwhere and my fantasy addiction began. Guess that makes it an important book to me. Surprisingly enough, I've never read any of his other books. Any suggestions on one to try?

Neverwhere and American Gods are likely the two best books to be released in the last 25 years. It's just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it.
