January 2012 Challenge
Love this challenge. Can someone tell me how to get the book covers when I do this challenge or others.
1. Dear Cary by Dyan Cannon
2. New Series selection undecided at this time
3. The Buddha in the Attic written by Julie Otsuka
Lori - if you look in the upper right corner of the box you type in, there is a link that says add book/author - click on that and you'll get a pop-up where you can type the book title in...then at the bottom, there is a radio button that says name/cover...select cover and voila
Can a single book be used for multiple challenges? Also when Author's name or Title is used with the author is it just the "first letter" of their first name and with titles only the "first letter" of the first word?
I'm still so new many questions keep popping to my head.
Oh wait, one last question not related to these 2 and it's "Haven't finished my PREVIOUSLY READ book list. How do I handle it for counting towards the 1,000,000 challenge."
Promise, won't be anymore after this and it's: "Do books started a few days ago and finished in 2012 count for 2011 or 2012?"
OK, with that I say Thanx for your patience with and HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can use a single book for as many challenges as you would like!
Usually for the Author's name or Title you could use the "first letter" of the Title and for the author you can use the "first letter" of either the first or last name...
For the Previously read books... you can count those in your million if you want. I personally started from scratch so that I could have them all.
Books that you started in 2011 and finishing in 2012...I count them in 2012 but you can count it in 2011 if you would like.
Most of these challenges are up to you to decide how you would like to do it. We try to keep them pretty open for you to interpret how you would like. Remember this is a challenge for YOU and you can do it how you want.

A mix of YA and adult! Faefever sounds like it will be a good one! Is that the first in a series?

Lori wrote: "Still having trouble getting the covers as in the post above. When I do it they are just underlined titles. Thanx for your help with this problem."Lori, when you search for a book you will see two choices at the bottom of the search box: add: link (or) cover. If you check on "cover" you should get a copy of the cover in the post.
I hope this helps.

You are very welcome Lori!
Good looking bookcovers! I was always beat to the punk to provide help. Makes me happy we have such a wonderful group! ;)
I think I'm going to have to add {Austria} to my list of countries. I need to finish Becoming Marie Antoinette and there is no better time then now.*whispers* Besides Z would goad me until I did.
